I am deeply concerned that the ISA is allowing deep sea mining to proliferate in a disruptive and mechanical way. I think any exploitation should be as gentle and respectful and quiet as is humanly possible or not happen at all. It does not make sense to allow loud dredging or hoovering of an environment we are only just discovering and if ISA exists for all it should be about preservation not exploitation
