Some things you might want to know: I want to do this myself! What do I need? To decode these images you only need an antenna and a cheap SDR dongle (RTL-SDR). The antenna should be made for the 2m Ham radio band: There are lots of options, I built myself a simple V-Dipole, but you can buy a prebuilt antenna too or build something else. For the software side of things, you only need an SDR client (e.g. SDRSharp / GQRX) and an SSTV decoder (e.g. MMSSTV / Rx-SSTV) Why does the frequency change all the time? Due to the ISS being a moving object, Doppler effect occurs. You could adjust the frequency yourself without any problems, but I use a piece of software called GPredict to do it automatically. When are these events? SSTV Events are usually announced on the ARISS website or on sites such as AMSAT-UK. In order to see your local passes during the event, GPredict is probably your tool of choice.

That image was actually very clear accept for some noise, otherwise it was almost full quieting.
