The high RF noise on 18.113 MHz is presumed to be mainly man-made. The noise could be partly due to the antenna farm's combined active electronics. The first step is to switch off the Icom 7851 internal preamp. Second is to turn on the Icom 7851 noise blanker. Next an on/off isolation test could be made to investigate and identify the strongest QRM sources. Switch-mode power supplies are one potential high noise source. The elevated high gain directive antennas should in theory reject some local noise. High antenna gain and elevation above ground is the station's main strengths.

super station, super towers, super antenna , super tranceiver but 2 PREAMP and a lot of QRM, at 15:13 S7 of pure noise and bad S/N rapport . Surely if you remove the two preamplifiers the reception quality improves a lot. Maybe you don't see the s-meter marking 9+20 but I prefer a clean S7 than a noisy S9+20. And that's not all, if a weak token called you, you most likely didn't hear it or understand it. A proverb says: there are those who have teeth and there are those who have bread..

Lobe the video and love the t34 tanks i like tanks very much
@OM0ET9 ай бұрын
The second model is the SU-100 self-propelled gun. At the time of the Dargovský pass, it was a relatively new weapon, because the Soviets started its production in June 1944. They used the chassis of the T-34 tank. While the tank had a barrel of 85 mm, the new model of the self-propelled gun already had 100 mm. It replaced the older type of SU-85 self-propelled gun. In addition, the SU-100 model had a width of armor on the gun mask up to 110 mm. From June 1944 to the end of World War II during the Second World War, more than 1,200 units of this type were produced. Around 1949, this model of self-propelled gun was produced in Czechoslovakia. The crew of the SU-100 consisted of four soldiers, the vehicle could accommodate five of them in total. Its disadvantage was movement in rugged terrain, because the long barrel protruded too far forward. The maximum speed on the road was 60 km/h and the range with a full tank was 320 kilometers. Consumption in summer was 250 liters of diesel per 100 kilometers, in winter 290 liters. He could climb a slope with a maximum gradient of thirty percent and was able to fire 8 shots per minute. The maximum range was an incredible 16 kilometers, of course, when using a parabolic curve. However, the self-propelled gun was mainly used for direct fire and destruction of enemy tanks, so it fired at significantly shorter distances.
