As an international student arriving in Canada, every experience feels like an adventure waiting to unfold. From navigating a new city to adapting to a different academic environment, each moment brings a blend of excitement and learning. One of the first and most memorable experiences I had was taking my first subway ride in Toronto and visiting the George Brown College campus for a school tour.
The day started with a mix of anticipation and nervous energy. I had heard so much about the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) and its extensive subway network. Navigating public transport in a new city can be daunting, but I was eager to explore Toronto like a local. Armed with my Presto card and a basic map of the subway system, I set out for my first journey on the TTC.
