Hello my name is Eliane Cassinda I am Angolan and African. I have a dream, which is to study medicine in the United States. But my financial conditions do not allow me to fulfill this dream, my father is a farmer, my mother is a maid and our family income is very low, they would not be able to pay for my studies, my father walks 40 kilometers to bring us food. As you are well aware, the reality in many African countries is extremely painful and often difficult to see. I lost my grandfather due to lack of doctors in hospitals. Many in my country suffer and die in hospitals because we have few doctors and it breaks my heart, my dream is to get a degree in medicine in the field of intensive care to be able to help my country in whatever it takes, I know that I'm not going to change everything the rest. I'd like to try to change our reality I've tried to apply for several scholarships but in Angola we don't have the English test available that universities in the United States ask for. Without the test, it is not possible to get admitted to universities. Please help me to help my country. I know in my heart that I am not an American. and this is an American foundation, but I ask you to help me.
