INTERNATIONAL TRACTORS Plowing

In this video viewers spend in the field with three high horse power INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER tractors moldboard plowing. Watch for a 255 hp INTERNATIONAL 4366 4wd, 133 hp V8 Powered INTERNATIONAL 1468 and a 130 hp turbo charged INTERNATIONAL 1456 plowing to prepare a seed bed for peanut planting. Viewers will follow these 1970's Red Power machines as they turn over the soil and learn about their engine specs, cost, years of production and how many of each tractor model were produced.

Great history to hear. I have a Steiger Stars and Stripes Panther II featured here on the channel. The farm that bought the Panther II new traded a 1466 and 1456 for the larger tractor. They jumped up in acres plowed a day with the one larger machine.

Great video. That 56 is gonna wear those right side tires big time lol. Used to use the diff lock on the 4020 back in the day. Helped alot with spinach. Beautiful tractors

Have watched for a long time and yet see anyone using what we call a lister fir row crop farming. Is it something not done there? Works here in West Texas but not sure there. Just seems odd to me.

I have an IH sales brochure on lister farming. It seems it is for dry land farming. I know parts of South Dakota used lister IH equipment.
