Truly amazing to see honest couples giving their own experience and helped me a lot in my journey to India next Monday 23rd Nov. I am glad not to book via Air India due to poor standards across the board and lack of understanding by their own call centre staff. I decided BA as it was the only option to travel under these circumstances. Hope BA delivers on their promise and provide a good or reasonable level of support. Really good to see you guys offer your time and support to others and I thank you.

Great vlog guys. Had a few questions, did you require to any transit visa while passing through Frankfurt? If no then from where in india did you confirm that you will not need a transit visa. Thanks.
@VlogsbyZara4 жыл бұрын
Thank you!!!🌸 I didn't need a transit visa for Frankfurt because I am a Canadian Citizen. My husband is an Indian Citizen but he didn't need a transit visa either because he has a 10-year Canada Visitor visa on his passport. To my understanding, if you have a valid Canadian visa (as your final destination), then you do not need a transit visa for Frankfurt. However, if you plan on stepping out of the airport and are staying for more than 24 hours then you will need to apply for Germany visa. Things may be a little different now due to Covid so it would probably be a good idea to double check with the airline you will be traveling with. Once again, thanks for watching!🌸

Yes I understand its very uncomfortable for children to keep their masks on for so long but I think any child over 2 years old is required to wear a mask, however, this may differ depending on the airline you choose to travel with. I'm sure you can bring a few pieces as long as you declare them to the immigration officer. Its always a good idea to carry your original receipt with you too, just in case you have any issues when entering India again. If your gold jewelry is minimal (if you are wearing the items)...like a few rings and a necklace or earrings etc, I don't think you even need to declare that. I always travel with my engagement ring and manglasutra, bangles, earrings etc..have never had a problem.

@VlogsbyZara4 жыл бұрын
I have an OCI too and from what I know, India is still honoring OCI as far as re-entry in to India is concerned...but that can change anytime because the covid situation in India is worsening. Another thing is that Canada has restricted travel to India...they say do not travel unless its absolutely necessary. So I guess getting back to India would depend upon your particular situation. Just keep checking the official websites for both the countries for the latest updates. Once you get back to India you will have to quarantine yourself for 14 days, of course.

Don’t misinform your viewers not only persons with spouses and pr can enter. Also people with job offers that are going to apply at the airport or with work permit . And if you are renting a room in a house even if you share washroom or kitchen it’s ok but they say you can’t share the place with vulnerable people. That’s from the Canada official website.
@VlogsbyZara4 жыл бұрын
I spoke to the immigration officials personally and this is exactly what I was told. You "can not" share kitchen or bathroom and you need to be in complete isolation....otherwise why would we spend so much money staying in a hotel for two weeks?? If you're staying in a separate basement suite of a house that has its own kitchen and bathroom then its ok if there are elderly people or children living upstairs. The room or suite that you are in personally should not have young children or senior citizens there...and especially not people who have a compromised immune system. Keep in mind, that I returned to Canada back in August. The rules could have changed now. Thanks for watching. God bless!

I had a similar issue, my dear. I'm a Canadian Citizen and my husband has a 10 year visitor visa. I thought it would have been ok for him to travel with me as he is IMMEDIATE FAMILY, however when we got to immigration in Vancouver, the officer told me technically my hubby is not allowed in the country because I am traveling with him. He would only be allowed if I were in Canada and he were in India...however, we also had other issues due to which the officer allowed my hubby to enter. We got lucky. I believe its completely up to the officer if he/she allows you to enter. Is like taking a chance...a gamble. Some people have been turned back from the airport also.

Thanks for watching!! It definitely was different...and awkward. I wouldn't recommend traveling abroad unless its absolutely necessary...and you're right, with high risk parents its best not to take the risk at all. My parents are both over 60...I've been self-isolating in a hotel for the last 13 days. Would hate to pass something on to them. Its all really scary these days...u just never know. Better safe than sorry...but it definitely feels good to be back home!!!😁

Well, if you have a valid work permit or study permit (the original paper document), you can still travel to Canada, as your are exempt from the border restrictions as well. However, the CBSA officer may ask a study permit holder - an international student - to prove that her or his travel is essential. This may be done by giving an explain that you consider Canada as your home, the internet service at your country of citizenship is very slow and there is a course you’re taking that is face to face - such as science lab courses, if that’s the case. More detailed explanation is given on IRCC’s website in the link below: www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/service-delivery/coronavirus/temporary-residence/study-permit.html#toc_1 The reason why I gave the information above is because I am a study permit holder myself, thus, I am entitled to enter Canada if my travel is essential. I am travelling back to Vancouver, BC as well in mid September, so thanks for this informative video, as I have an idea of the changed attitude - rightly so - of the CBSA officers.

Yes I hear they are being flexible with work permits and student visas now..but yes, do be ready to be grilled by the CBSA officer. Even I was grilled and I was born in Canada. We personally know some people (work permit holders) who were turned back from the airport last month...but that was when the situation was verrrrrry strict. Now they seem to be a little more relaxed provided you can prove that the purpose of your travel is absolutely essential and all your documentationis in place. All the best with your travels...and thank you for watching. Let me know if I can be of any more help. God bless!

Ghost Spirit, you need the original study permit document to travel, otherwise the airline carrier won’t let you go on the airplane.

It all depends on the Border Services Officer at the airport, Meet. Every case is different now because of the Covid situation.
