It’s so nice to hear kind strangers helped you. Thanks for sharing your tips. I’m about to embark on the same trip! Would love to know your recommendations for toddler activities in HK

Yes, it was soo nice to have people helping me out! Hope you have an amazing trip :) it’s a long flight, but so worth it! I didn’t actually do a ton of activities per se cause we were mostly visiting relatives but I did find that there are quite a few outdoor parks to explore, of course ocean park is a hit and beaches too! Other than that, I feel like taking in the city is already so exciting for a toddler.

Stickers that dispense on a roller are also a good choice for toddlers.

Thank you!! So many helpful things I’ll use on my trip with a similar itinerary soon. I still struggle with vertical diaper changes- I recently discovered that pampers cruisers 360 are pull ups. Better than alligator wrestling a toddler on a changing table.

Thanks so much for watching! And yay have fun! I hope the tips come in handy for you ☺️ oh yes pull up style diapers are sooo much easier for a toddler.

Yes! I use pull-ups on my 18 month old when it makes more sense, though I’ve been doing stand up diaper changes since what feels like forever 😅 it’s still tricky!

Thank you for these tips! I’m going on a long trip alone with two kids (3 year old and a 7 month old) California-Japan with a connecting flight. It’s going to be a little kooky but hopefully it will go well 🙃💗

Ooh me too. This summer I’m going to Japan with my 4 yo and will be 7mo old. If you’re going before me let me know how it goes!

@@aibao_eipariru_april it went smooth! Literally a dream. Snacks on snacks and the tv on the seats really helped with the toddler ❤️

Hi Estella! How was the time with the two kids in Japan? I am going soon with a 3yo and a 10mo soon to Japan. My biggest fear is how we are going to move with them. Some say it’s horrible depending on stroller, because of the many stairs and the public transport.

Did you gate check a stroller? If yes, did you get it Taiwan in between the transfer flight?

Me too! 😂 It's going to be a 12,5 h flight for me and my toddler. Plus a connecting flight and a roadtrip to the airport! 😅

I really loved the pillbox snack trick! I'll try with my 11mo infant. Soon, we'll be traveling in a 10h trip to Brazil. I'll be alone in the return with the baby. I have a question, how did you managed to go to the washroom for yourself, not the baby? I've watched a ton of videos and nobody mentions, but your trip was the longest, so I'm sure you needed to go at one point lol. Thanks for the great video!

Yess the pillbox trick was a game changer! I had to wear him in the carrier (🙈) gotta do what you gotta do hahaha.

@CandiceTay I was thinking on doing that! Thank you so much!

I’ve never had to take off any carrier for security, including Sakura bloom. Sometimes if the agent is looking hesitant I just say I’m happy for them to use the additional screening.

I am flying my then 25 mo old toddler and I really appreciate your tips. I took some notes. I did get here because of your packing video :) Btw i am also flying on eva, you mentioned that you didnt get your stroller on your connecting flight since you gate checked it is that correct? i thought you can get it during connecting if it has a pink tag?
@CandiceTay9 ай бұрын
Thanks so much for watching ☺️ I hope the tips are helpful! Yea I didn’t get my stroller during connection. I think it may have been because my flight was delayed and I only had like 30 mins to get to my next flight. It was very tight. If you’re also connecting, just be mindful of the really long connection line. That took forever! See if you can get priority since you have a child with you. I had to ask multiple times and tell them that I would miss my flight before they let me through lol it was stressful!

I'd be scared to give a pill box for baby to play with. what if they end up finding your med pill box thinking it's snacks? 🥴
