Jo Harten too cocky at times it seemed. Yelling at her captain to give her the f'n ball. She's a good player and made some great plays in this game, but missed some key shots as well. Great game from both teams, fantastic battle. What a change for the Ferns under Taurua. Worthy winners of the title.

England came into this semi a little underdone. As their coach pointed out, this was the first time they had to chase the game from behind, whereas NZ had the tough game against Australia in the prelims and learned from that close loss. England didn't have a tough game coming into this so didn't know how they would perform under pressure. Not well as it transpired. The final score indicates the game was close, but NZ was in control in that final quarter as England never came closer than 2 goals during it.

England we’re groomed to beat the kiwis cos they had beaten them in their last 5 meetings to the lead up for the WORLDS plus they are CWG champions! They were the favs and the crowd was on their side but the kiwis weren’t having it and the better side won on the day 👊🏾
