For 24, you can flip both over when 7 mins is done start egg. When the 11 finishes (you'll be at 4 mins) just flip 11 back over. 15.

The boil the egg one had an easier way. Before you put the eggs in flip both. When the 7 runs out put the egg in. When the 11(with 4 remaining) runs out flip the 11 and now it's done when the 11 finishes.

The last one can be done even easier than described. You start both glasses at the same time. When the 7 min one runs out, you start boiling the egg and put the 7 min timer away. Once the 4 remaining minutes of the 11 are done, you turn it back over once and theres your 15.

There's a simpler way to do the egg timer question. Flip both hourglasses over, after 7 minutes (when the 7-min hourglass runs out) start boiling your egg. The 11-min hourglass still has 4 minutes of sand in it falling; once it runs out, immediately flip it over. 4+11=15 minutes.

Another way to do the last one: Turn both over. When the 7-minute one finishes, start boiling and ignore the 7-minute glass. 4 minutes later, the 11 minute one finishes. At that point, turn it over for 11 more minutes

For the last one they overcomplicated it so damn hard... You 1st start both at same time. Once the 7 is out, you START cooking the egg (There's 4 min left in the 11 min one). Once the 4 min is up, just flip it once more for a total of 15 min. 4+11 = 15.

That "bus is going to the left of the image, based on the door" only works assuming it's a LHD vehicle (door on the right-hand side of the vehicle) such as in the US. If you asked a person from a RHD country such as UK, Australia (like myself) or Japan, they'd say the bus is going to the right of the image as the door would be on the *left*-hand side of the vehicle (which would be supported by the pigtails flowing in the wind to the back of the bus).

The only way you see all children is if it's the opposite side of the driver. Therefore the bus would be going right. But then you don't see the door that is on the right side for US busses. So this drawing is completely wrong.

I object to the school bus one. If the bus was going left that would mean that little girl would be in the driver's seat. The bus has to be going right because the right side is the only one that has room for a door plus what was said about the way her hair is swinging is also right!

The door is on the right side of the bus, not in view. You can't have a door on the left side of a yellow school bus. That means they'll be release children into on-coming traffic.

If the bus is facing left, then the girl on the far left must be in the driver's seat, but there's nothing differentiating her from the students so I can only assume she's meant to be a student. So if the bus is facing left that means there is a student in the driver's seat and, for some reason, the door is at the back of the bus and not the front.

Every other version of this riddle I can find just has a bus with featureless windows that look the same at the back in front. Round 10 has another pattern that can give a different answer. Each row totals consecutive even numbers. Row 1 = 18 Row 2 = 20 Row 3 = 22 And Row 3 would equal 24 if you make the last number 7.

Round 13: We can only see 5 cubes, and since they're not transparent we can't even say for certain they are cubes. The higher cubes could all be stacked on cylinders.
