I come from Ghana and the Juju priest called the baby "aboa" meaning animal. He asked the mother to give the child a cold bath. Down here people do not treat their kids like eggs. Once the fans were shipped we would get a charge back due to fraudulent activity. I started tracking the IP from the email orders and realized most of the fraudulent orders were coming from Ghana. i taught this nigerian the apartment scam....he rented his apartment with a fake id then re rented it to 45 people taking a month deposit in advance before he moves out in a months time to go to a new job in a different country...the scam works as follows...rent a nice apartment with nice furniture all rented....then get a fake wife and fake baby and invite the person who wants to rent the apartment inside ....show packed boxes ready to move out at end of month....make coffee and cake for the guest....ask for one month deposit and give him a key and a depositi reciept...give him fake banlk account to deposit the future rents and fake name....take the deposit and meet other renters....take deposit from as many people as you can and then leave....the renters come at end of month and the apartment is empty and you move out before they all come at the same time...you are gone....do same in different town and repeat scam...make sure the rent you ask for is below market rate like its a bargain...they all fall for it....they will beg to be able to pay the de[osit to get the apartment.. ....

I always thought "how can people fall for this crap?" But then I worked in a community computer lab. One day I walk in and there's this old guy sitting at a computer. He had about a dozen different internet tabs opened up, and they were ALL scam sites like "easy loans", "get cash fast", "claim your FREE Visa credit card", etc. They weren't even trying to look legitimate, they were so corny. But this dude had his driver's license, credit cards, social security card, and bank information sprawled out on the desk in front of him, and he was diligently typing in all the information the sites were asking for. He even had a piece of paper where he was adding up the money he thought he was going to get. I walked over and tried to explain to him that these sites were just going to trick him and take his money. He said "I don't care, I'll do it anyway", so I just reached over his shoulder and closed the browser for him. Desperate people will believe anything.
