Messed up part is that, I believe, Super Buu is technically stronger than Kid Buu. But Kid Buu is so derange, chaotic and evil that he has no restraint and goes 100% into every fight. Super Buu had way to much personality and ego that got in the way of him finishing the job, while Kid Buu shows up and goes straight for murder of the entire human race. Combined with that insane regeneration power and he was legitimately seemed unstoppable. Only atomizing him down to the point of complete and total disintegration did he finally go down. The Buu saga was up and down in overall quality but Buu was truly on of the biggest threats in all of anime let alone DBZ.

I mean fat buu and kid buu has the same hacks just that kid buu was way stronger and deranged and that same kid buu was the one who blew himself up on earth and regenerated himself in space. He killed the dog to just mess with Buu because he thinks he can actually take him out. Also at 12:05, the real reason Buu didn't kill Videl was because Piccolo told him that she's Mr. Satan's daughter. Fat Buu is still inside Super Buu, so he's still sentimental about him. If you watch the show, right after Buu blows up the other mercenary, he notices Mr. Satan and their dog, Bee. Right when he was about to kill them, he stopped once he realized who they were. And even when he did the Human Extinction Attack, when it cuts to Mr. Satan and Bee, the ki blasts are actively avoiding them! It wasn't until Kid Buu came around and spit out Fat Buu that he no longer had feelings for Mr. Satan. I just feel like CJ could have emphasized the importance of Buu and Mr. Satan's friendship a bit more.

NAH..he said himself that he COULD have (probably) defeated Buu..had he taken him serious at first and not done what Goku does and bullshit around..he pretty much stated he consciously decided not to so that he could purposely let Goten, Trunks, and or Gohan do so..because HE wouldn't always be around to save the world (he was technically dead and on barrowed time at that particular moment)..thinking like GOKU..he pretty much attempted what he was trying with Gohan when it came to Cell..and put the fate of the world on the youth/ next generation.. It had NOTHING to do with his energy at that time..he was literally on some "the children need to learn how to save the world" bullshit..and in doing so..getting alot more people PHUCKED up..which is consistent with Goku...remember..he HAD SS3 and hid it from Vegeta..purposely bullshit'n.. He's well known for holding back in fights..and has been called out for it several times..he'll do his 'Warming up" in battles.. Vegeta in contrast is known to pull no punches and has no problem going all in straight from the start.. Think of every fight they show you of Goku..he NEVER just goes full power/final form/ all out from the start.. it almost always has to be "forced" for him to do so..

@@grayter even King Kai did not want Goku to use SS3, because that would make him have less time on Earth. Basically the amount of power used was a direct factor in how long his life force could remain in the earth realm. He only had a certain amount of time and this relied on a certain type of energy (which makes perfect sense when you ask yourself how Goku was able to be there in the first place) so when he went SS3 and expended a signficant amount of his own energy it had a direct impact on how long he could remain on earth. Considering Dragon Ball uses ki & Goku being on earth involved Baba’s powers, its safe to say Goku’s energy and his time on earth were linked. Right after fat buu killed babidi and goku went to koriin tower. He literally said that he used up all his energy when he went SS3 and when piccolo suggested that dende should give him some energy he said that wouldn’t work and that he would have to go back to other world to recharge. Goku didn’t want to use up all his energy and his remaining 30 min because he had to use it in order to teach Goten and trunks how to do the fusion. If goku kept fighting he literally would’ve finished his time on earth and went back to king Kai’s planet leaving earth defenseless.

@@grayter The more power goku uses, the more his time on earth shortens so if he fought like he fought against frieza and taken it serious and went all out his time would’ve been up fast. Even when goku took it easy, baba came to him and told him he only had 30 min after he used SS3. And he used that 30 min to teach goten and trunks the fusion dance

@@grayter piccolo literally asked him if he could’ve killed buu but goku in the vid said it’s possible but it could’ve gone one way or the other bcuz of buu strength and power. Meaning he is not sure if he would be able to beat buu. You said that Goku said himself that he “probably could’ve beaten majin buu if he took it serious” but that’s not what he says he basically said he was unsure who would win when he said the fight could go either way. He never said anything about taking the fight serious And going back to the time and energy thing it does have something to do with it bcuz king Kai, baba, and goku himself stated in several ep that the more energy he uses fighting and using energy shorten his time on earth. Which is why when he went against majin vegeta he didn’t use ss3 bcuz it would drain the time he had on earth. He used his final 30 minuets to train goten and trunks bcuz that was the only choice he had. Baba only gave a dead goku 24 hours to spend time with his family and within those 24 hours dealt with majin vegeta and majin buu which both drained tf out his energy and time.

Buu had no business being in Z. He was dead-ass an enemy from Super. Bibidy created him to kill GODS. Buu was literally designed to defeat people like Beerus, ten years before Beerus was ever even created. If Toei ever does a runback or a re-release of the whole series, they need to end Z at the Cell Saga and have the Buu Arc happen sometime during Super. Because that's where Majin Buu belongs. Buu is a character that was born to throw hands with Beerus and the Gods of Destruction, but we never got to see it because the story just didn't play that way. I want to see an arc where Buu pulls up, EATS Beerus before he can stop him, and now everybody has to deal with the problem that fucking created.
