@@ihavetwoturtles8166 As a Dreamcatcher ult, I think DC did concepts more linked to classic terror and mystery (Stephen King, John Carpenter, occultism series, etc, and in later works, cinematography more linked to action films and blockbusters in a epic scale), while ARTMS is doing it with a more modern flare of terror (Ari Aster, the Pearl Trilogy, pagan symbolism ofter used in indie movies), so there's a difference. But also, "Birth" in particular was a single that no group dared to release, one with defiant structure and puzzling sounds, not something pop with terror textures, but a terror indie track with some pop arrangements, even near to cinematic soundtracks, so in the sound, "Birth" is really something else.

Haseul is absolutely right about "Birth", it's a very complex song with multiple genres, Art Pop, the lyrics are very interesting with different cultural references and they were definitely ahead of their time again with it. "Virtual Angel" is also incredible with very beautiful lyrics, the whole album is amazing and one of the best in K-pop for me. They got me interested in K-pop again and looking forward to new releases, I'm actually so excited about future releases. It’s not for nothing that they're ARTms, they are truly for ART. 🏹🌙💖💚❤💙💜

This was a great and refreshing interview. I just 'got back' into kpop this year and started following lots and lots of ggs but I have to say, ARTMS' Dall album has been one of my top 3 albums this year. It's also crazy cause I barely know anything about this group. I love interviews where the members get asked about their favorite songs or choreographies because it IS SO RARE! I feel like 90% of English interviews are always like "oh how's LA? how was New York? how do do you prepare to go on stage?", etc. So thanks again Nathan for delivering this. Also, I know you're not asking but can I maybe suggest make your thumbnails a little cleaner? They look very busy and sometimes hard to read 😅. I forgot which video it was when I subscribed but your content is great. Keep it up man!

OEC was my fav loona subunit & they only had S tier songs previously. But air force one doesn't really do it for me, kinda headachey sound. I don't about the others but Candy Crush hits differently for me. It's so aesthetically pleasing to the eyes and ears, that I can keep listening and watching it over and over, but mostly because Jinsoul is so beautiful there 😅💙
