sir I am hoing to submit my Ph.D thesis in3-4months. I saw an advertisement of project assistant in a CSIR lab...the topic of research projwct is not memtioned.should I join that at this point of time or not as having PhD degree and starting teaching was in my mind, though I like lab work also? what if the topic of project differs from my PhDrearch topic? The fellowship is equivalent to JRF.

Can project assistant avail the facilities like library and other campus facilities? They don't get campus accommodation. But can they opt for mess in campus (A B C or D) as externally paying the money?

Yes they can avail many facilities now like gymkhana, health centre etc. yes accommodation is not possible but they can join not-in-demand messes such as the A mess. If regular students already fill the messes such as the C mess then it is difficult

See it is just like any other job. Nobody will keep you in bondage. You are free to leave at any time however try to leave in an amicable and morally right manner so that the PI is also not too much affected. Try your best to leave on good terms if at all you have to leave earlier than planned. Hope this answers your query 😇

1) Nope, you don't need any prior research experience. 2) You can do internship after graduation; If any organization/institution is providing it.

No, for Mtech in IITs and IISC's you need a valid GATE score and should clear the cutoffs.
