Yes! But it's computer aided perfect pitch, which is totally fine in principle but when the pitch correction is set to react too quickly it can introduce artifacts which can make him sound a bit robotic. Think T-Pain.

Seriously though Carlos D is an amazing Musician and Bass player. But he was literally Tired of being a Rock Star. His actual Words. Turn on the bright lights and Antics are amazing amazing Albums. In my opinion that's Carlos D right there. Without him Interpol is nothing. He left in 2010 literally at the Recording studio. He just said hey guys I'm done. I guess some Deeper issues were at Bay with Him and the band. Paul mostly I believe. But he handed in his Bass lines on a CD so the guys could finish the Album after he left. The album finally came out awhile later and Carlos didn't even recognize anything that they had recorded. It was all new. Although you can't really say much after you leave a band. They can do what they want. But that Album was trash. You can tell their sound was gone. Nothing like Turn on the bright lights. Or Antics. Carlos D was gone. And I think he is staying gone. Starting fresh as an Actor. From all the interview material I have heard from him. He barely remembers any of Turn on the bright lights. Or Antics. It was years and years of drugs and being a Rock star. But Carlos D didn't even know who Carlos D was. And that's what he has been trying to figure out. Still.......Interpol will never be what it was. Not without Carlos D. Untitled....I mean the bass in that. Wow Say hello to the angels. ...can't beat it Evil... No words Narc......you get it He will be missed. Whoever he was or is.
