Literal comment; It's because the story is the perspective from the East (think Eastern Civilization and how books read backwards). Casa mel is also a biblical reference to the house of milk and honey, or the land of milk and honey. All stories of nature are told in a backwards direction. All western civilization stories play in the direction you're used to but it is the western perspective that is actually backwards. The beginning of all western stories are actually the end of the story from the natural perspective. This song is actually a tale of hate and fighting that turns into love in laughter. The tragedy at the beginning is the metaphor love and happiness at its end.

They have several Gold Awards in several countries and topped the charts of many and sell out arenas all the time.
