After spotting that Albert Hammond Jr. cameo, it makes me think..oh, what a show it would be to see the Strokes and Interpol perform together, even if only they were to play back to back on the same stage sometime. A girl can dream, can't I? Ebon Moss-Bachrach has that heavy soul stitching carved into his bones. I noticed it years ago. It resonates within his eyes, if you look closely enough, and can see. He's familiar to me, especially here. He reminds so much of someone who died years ago. Ghosts, simpatico, and music allows them to breathe.

Excellent psychedelic video. You have to be dense to not get this video or born after 1988. The chap from “The Punisher” as many commenters seem to have observed represents both a forbidden band member/keyboardist but also the tension of an alter ego emanating from Paul’s subconscious. The “cult of personality” surrounding this 4th band member is representative of the Rover as he quickly gains followers. We get a brilliantly terse and muddy perspective into this lens. Bravo to the Mexican community for being a second home for Interpol. These comments reinforce the growing idea that rock is dead in the United States. I think the fan base has thrown dirt on its coffin but it appears Latin and Central America still appreciate indie, alternative, etc.

Third/fourth time I had a severe mexican crush in a music video (after Calexico and The Killers) when I saw that girl in yellow and the one sporting a black top. Anyways one of the best and most exciting music video ever, with such an irl feeling that you can almost feel electricity in the air (and that you can easily picture yourself being that strange "situationist" guy drifting in Mexico). It melts perfectly with the song's atmosphere, even add a little something to it (and vice-versa). 👏 to the director !
