HENCE why I said “when you look upon the mirror” 🤦🏻‍♀️ I know I’ve made a lot of Medusa/Athena skits but I really wanted to share this as a message to fellow survivors that you are strong and I love you dearly. PLEASE DO NOT fight in the comments what is the “right” or “wrong” story. Just enjoy the wholesome message. The beginning part from “Kara” the tech demo from Detroit Become Human! Love this interpretation of Athena and Medusa!! When Athena said “you are my warrior,” I realised that Athena’s shield(aegis) has Medusa’s head on it, and that made it even more real for me. Also you’re an awesome actress!!

This really connects with me I was taken advantage of as a 16 year old child. After taking night medicine I was weak and vulnerable and a man touched me inappropriately and tried taking advantage of me. Ever since then I have found it hard to trust men. But now I'm a martial artist only a few belts away from a black belt. A warrior and a karate teacher. I teach my students to protect the both physically and verbally

There was a Greek story on how she was killed by looking at a mirror by someone reflecting it at her and she died. The guy (I forgot his name) brought Medusas head back to someone because he wanted the head and the guy just showed it to his face and he looked in the eyes but although Medusa was dead he still got turned to stone. The boy who killed Medusa killed the guy who requested for the head because he wanted him to die while going to get Medusa head for him.

This is so awesome! For anyone who doesn’t know, the real story is that Medusa was a virgin and stuff under Athena’s influence. Some god, I think it was Poseidon, tried to s3duce Medusa. Medusa refused and the god forcefully did it. Athena cursed Medusa, even thought it was the god’s fault. She was cursed to have hair made of snakes and whoever she looks in the eye would turn into stone and die. Later she was beheaded by some dude which finished off the curse
