My daughter is married to a white man so I understand the stares however, I find myself looking at interracial couples only because I find it beautiful. Where I live there is only sane culture couples ,so seeing an interracial couple, just watching them touch or carry on as normal is fascinating. Just a beautiful site to see. Everytime I see a vlog that mentions the stares as a negative it makes me sad because maybe the people who are starting could feel the same way I do. Like seeing an exotic flower, a beautiful painting or extraordinary building. Just anything beautiful that's out of the ordinary for them. I understand that being stared at regardless of who you are married to is not always pleasant but consider the movie stars, they know why and keep on going. I also know that all of the people looking don't feel as I do, but just thought you'd like to hear another side of things. You have a beautiful family and good luck to a wonderful future.

Co-signing is the furthest thing from the truth. Like some what mentioned in the video I explained to him it was wrong. He is also very young (18 yrs younger than me) and he is very culturally unaware (only has lived in small white country towns entire life). It can be a learning process for many people when they finally are put in a more diverse setting.

I completely agree. It's not an excuse for ignorance. I live in South Carolina and you will meet ignorant people anywhere. Like here, you don't see as many wm/bm interracial relationships unless it is a type. Preference exists. It is common to see more black and latino men with white women and more white men with latina and asian women. So you will have that handful of people who think you will date anyone without really getting to know them. They are so bad here, they do it to LGBTQ couples, too. It's just biased assumptions.
