If a petty fraudster could put a person in city council, imagine what the CEO of an international corporation can do.

Just look at what George Soros does. He’s been putting politicians, judges, and prosecutors into office for decades to push his far-left ideology. But even individual billionaires are small game. Look at what nations do. By using non-governmental organizations such as the National Endowment for Democracy, the US government is capable of swaying foreign public opinion, radicalizing smaller groups into extremism, and even outright causing regime change. When that fails, it even straight-up provides weapons to rebels, usually through third or even fourth parties to maintain plausible deniability, of course. When other nations step out of line, they can be punished first through vocal reprimands, then sanctions, and finally through coercion or violence. Nations on the world stage behave very much like the world’s largest gangs.
