*Piano Tutorial* kzbin.info/www/bejne/roeXg62OgduDmrM. Haha - this is the strangest "request" I ever received whilst actually playing the piano. Where are the taxis! It's funny actually, and I think you can see that it kind of brought me back from where I go when I play piano. That's what is called a double take - really wasn't expecting that! The lady has just come from Paris out of the Eurostar exit next to Remoli pasta 3:04 and this is obviously a new place for her. Luckily I did not need to draw her a map and could just point with just one hand - I think I coped with it quite well! The signs were just above her head though. My favourite moment is at 0:52 where I think the lady recognises the song and just smiled. I love how music can do that.

I recognise that lady from an Elton John concert in 1982 at the Royal Albert Hall when she managed to sneak past security and get on stage in the middle of Elton's performance of Candle in the wind, and she went over to him and interrupted him to ask where the best local pizzeria was. Elton told her in no uncertain terms where to go (Pizza Hut on Twickenham high street)

Music is a way to bring magical moments to a large group of people at the same time. The people that are in the moment (especially children) can really enjoy the joy that your music brings. The old lady is an example of people who are not in the moment and probably self absorbed.

I'd like to say that I'm surprised at the number of people just ignoring the amazing playing and just rushing by or looking at their damn phones, but that's just how life is these days. Nobody seems to give a damn about music and musicians unless they happen to spot a "celebrity" to get a selfie, to post on their social media. Keep up the good work Cole. Of all the people that she could have asked, she chose to interupt someone performing like he was just sitting there doing nothing. Many might brush it off, but as a performer myself i find that a bit disrespectful. Keep up the great work and uploads, you are an awesome pianist with what i can see a very bright future. Yes people who aren't musicians have no idea it's not easy to answer questions when you're completely in a zone like you were. I used to play professionally in pubs and bars when I was younger and I used to sing as well and drunks would come up and want a full scale conversation when I was trying to sing and play!!

I think some of the members of the crow recognised it. I know it may have appeared quite amusing that the lady passenger asked you for directions to the taxis but her manners were very questionable. It is nothing less than rude to interrupt a maestro in the middle of creating an artistic performance. St Pancras Station has got hundreds of signs. All she had to do was look around.
