Interstate 15 - Primm to Las Vegas - Nevada | Drive America's Highways 🚙

🚙 Drive America's Highways for 42 miles north along Interstate 15 from Primm to Las Vegas, in Nevada.
We start the video entering Nevada from California on Interstate 15. Passing quickly through Primm, we continue north through the desert landscape. We soon come to the interchange with NV-161 where we stay on I-15 north towards Las Vegas.
As we approach Las Vegas, we gradually rise in elevation as we pass west of Sloan Canyon NCA. Cresting the hill, the Las Vegas metro comes into view and we soon reach our first interchange of the metro area with NV-146.
Now in a more urban setting, I-15 widens and the orange barrels come out. Most of I-15 seems to be under some sort of construction, at least on the south side of the Vegas metro, with the worst being at the US-95 interchange. Crossing the Bruce Woodbury Beltway (Interstate 215 / CR-215), we enter Las Vegas proper, with McCaren airport and the Las Vegas Strip to the right.
Entering downtown, we exit Interstate 15 at the US-95 / Interstate 515 interchange, where we end the video.

Nice! I got back early Saturday morning from the Golden Nugget and hit rain about 10 miles into California. I love driving in the rain. It is still raining 2 days later!

Ha! I stayed at the Fremont this time around. As you will see when I post the US-93 video, it did similar to me when I hit AZ and didn't stop until 3am. The ONE day it rains in the desert...and i get it. Go figure :)

@@Interstate411 I would consider you to be LUCKY. I love driving to Pittsburgh in January and February so I can be sure to get some serious weather. I love taking naps in the car when it is snowing! My Mom and I got stuck outside Grants, NM one night (1982) and we slept like babies until dawn. A year later we got snowed in at the TA (I think it was a 76 then) in Grants and they had free coffee all night long for the refugees from the snow. Still communicate with a husband/wife truck driving team I met that night. And yes, I know I'm weird.

Oh, and next time, stay at the Golden Nugget. It's a 5 star hotel with unbelievable low rates. Vic and Anthony's is my favorite restaurant and the rooms have the worlds best beds. It's my second home.

I dont like driving in the rain. rain is like idiot liquid that once it hits certain cars it makes the occupants instantly stupid. Plus, I can't film when it rains :)

@@Interstate411 I agree with how rain makes drivers stupid, and snow, especially in the mid west (MO, TX, IN, etc.), makes drivers totally retarded. Hence my preference for driving after 10 pm and I prefer straight sections of interstate and avoid the mountains of CO and Utah. It is so peaceful watching the snow come down. I also travel with chains.

@@countenanceblog Yeah. they are getting especially greedy now. I got a hit on a video I posted way back in 2016 the other day. Took a while to find the project file to dispute it -- which is why some videos late last year got reposted, i couldn't find the project file. I also have a few that even after retracting their claim proceed to claim the same song on a dozen other videos the very next day. SMH.
