@@kristhomas4039 Hi Kris, our dilemma is that we now have about 12 years of watching movies on our list. I would love to watch 2-3 movies a week, but INTERSTELLAR took at least 55 hours to create, so you can see that "time" is not on our side. But the more a movie gets recommended the more likely we'll watch it. Interstellar had quite a few recommendations after we watched "Contact" and "Arrival." Anyway, thanks for watching! (:

One of the few reactors that catch that Brand can breathe at the end is pretty significant from the grander perspective of the film since it showcases that her idea that following a feeling can be significant.

The organ is a larger than life instrument, and i am so grateful Hans Zimmer included her. Organs cost a fortune to be maintained. And the more people seeing her contribution to our "musical" world, the longer she will be with us. The movie is great. But the score makes half of the movie, in my opinion.

Excellent reaction Boss's! Sometimes when I see a reaction to Interstellar I suggest for the reactors to go watch contact, because of all the similarities. A powerful father/daughter relationship, an intelligent female leading character, Matthew McConaughey as a leading role, careful attention to scientific accuracy, etc etc. I'm glad you watched both already, and got so much out of them. One tiny beat you might have missed was that on his way back through the wormhole to Saturn, Cooper passed the endurance and he was the one who shook Brand's hand as a "first contact", because all of those moment exist at the same time in the wormhole. For a change of pace could I suggest watching Joe versus the Volcano. It's a romance comedy with Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan, but also with a lot of philosophical messaging mixed in. I can't say anything about the plot etc but I think you'll both like it.

I deep dived into "reactions" vidéos for some weeks, and I love that ! Humans seems to love feeling empathy . Crying just by seeing another person crie. Particularly, the two of you generate empathie a lot ! I note that you were using each a single airpod of a pair, on one ear. Is the sound of the movies only in one ear ? I think you should have a real stereo headphones or better (binaural) and mics to communicate . It would be a far better experience, particularly for music. Interstellar soundtrack is so awesome. See you soon !

I’ve seen so many reactions of this movie and not one got it right on the first watch as you have. Beautiful mind! And it was Coop shaking Brands hands ( what you watched after the tesseract collapsed). Great job guys!

Aw, thank you so much for your kind words. Yes, I realized that it was Coop shaking Brand's hand during editing. I was close during the movie but didn't quite catch it. Thanks for sharing! (:

I wonder how many people understand the world upside-down in the starship at the end. In the space there is no gravity so you should float. Therefore inside a cylinder rotating at a constant (and sufficiently high) speed a centrifugal force is created towards the walls in all directions (up-down, left-right, forwards-backwards) which simulates the gravity keeping you anchored to the walls and the ceiling. Instead of being on the surface of a sphere rotating at constant speed you are inside a cylinder but the principle is the same: a force always brings you back when you leave the walls. This is the idea behind the famous science fiction novel "Rendezvous with Rama" by Arthur C. Clark (author of 2001: A Space Odyssey); Nolan (or rather Kip Thorne) clearly exploited this idea for his final spaceship.

I just wanted to say, I've never watched you guys before so please forgive me for not knowing your names but the guy completely understood this movie which was actually really refreshing since most people don't understand it on the first watch. Huge kudos.

Thanks for that, Bezerker. I have to admit that it was quite challenging to keep up with all the science and all the plot twists, but I guess I did all right. Fantastic movie. Thanks for watching! (:

E=Mc2, That is all I have to say, The most profound equation ever. "time" is a physical construct, It always was. One of the hardest things to visualize. Like when I think about the universe, "where did it come from?" It was always here. My dad had an issue with his study of physics. He said, his block was understanding "Time" I've read numerous books from the best people, But it doesn't help. At some point in time, you just have to accept it.

Fascinating to see the differences in the two reactions. Obviously the guy was a lot more clued up on the complex nature of the film and that was impressive, but what I loved was how he really got the emotional significance of it all, the deep issues of love, humanity, relationships and connections. Really beautiful to see how on occasions it became briefly overwhelming for him. The woman just enjoyed it as a good film. Nothing wrong with that but you can tell the film reached into his soul and awakened deep feelings. Wonderful reaction.

Fantastic reaction, really enjoyed! Theres so many great moments and lines, but one that has always stood out to me is the sincere regret in TARS voice when he says; "Romilly did not survive.....I could not save him" Can hear that he's so much more than robot.

I watched this movie in the theaters, not knowing what it was about and I was totally mindblown. It's something you have experience in the theaters -- like the music during the "No Time for Caution" scene. If you guys haven't already, might I suggest you react to a movie called Napaleon's Dynamite?

When he's in the bookshelf that's kind of the movie pointing out that no one actually knows what's inside a blackhole or what would happen if someone went in one. I think the idea was good but could have been done better... i'm pretty sure you wouldn't be able to bang a book shelf from inside of one though lol.

Christopher Nolan is an amazing filmmaker. He's fantastic as a filmmaker going all the way back to "Insomnia." While "Oppenheimer" won an Oscar for Best Picture, this film (in my opinion) is even better. I'd love to see your reactions to some of his other films (including "The Prestige" and "Dunkirk").
