a god ? no. in reality it's very easy. the dockings collars of the station and the ships are at the point of rotation so just with that you juste need to match the two docking collars in front of each other. Then you match the spinning speed of the station with the ship, and then a little lift and voilà, docking done. it's if the docking collar of one side is not at the point of rotation, that's when it become hard.

Ok, let's do some math. 68 RPM, or let's call it 7ish radian/second spin. Let's call the Endurance 5ish meters long, and that's 200ish meters a square second of centrifugal force on those humans, or about 20 G's. Which (even in the perfect orientation) is about the upper limit of what humans can handle. So Cooper was smart to ask the robots to take the stick of he passed out, because that would be a real possibility even for the best of pilots. It's almost as if the creators of the film did their homework.

Did their homework and the dog ate it more like... 68 RPM of the spinney thing down to 0 via docking clamp.. Main engines at right angles to the docking tube. Main engines way off centre of mass. Yay we are out of orbit. Orbit is exactly where you want to be. Unbalanced spinney thing's centre of mass way off its centre of rotation.. Almost as bad as Gravity.

Endurance is spinning 68 RPM. Cooper must match that. Say, length of Cooper's spaceship is 10 meters. Speed = 2*pi*10meters*78 / minute = 4,272.56 meters / minute = 256.35 km/hour = 160 miles/hour

Orbit doesn't work by just firing thrusters to "push the station back into orbit" vertically...plus he didn't even know his orientiation to know which way to fire thrusters. He just randomly fired "main engines" assuming it was correct based on how they connected while the station was spinning. Fire them in the wrong direction and you *de-orbit* faster because it makes your speed and the station speed as a whole drop even more and that's keeping you in orbit to begin with.

It could have been such a great movie if only the script made sense and they came up with a plausible reason for the trip. No matter the blight - Earth was 1000x more hospitable than any of the worlds they've discovered. Abandoning Earth to live in space or some barren rock makes zero sense.
