@thesprawl2361
@thesprawl2361 Жыл бұрын
@@Arnauplanas98 I can understand where language came from though. We needed to be able to talk so we evolved sounds that made it possible. Or what I mean is, there was a niche for language and we evolved to fill it. That makes sense. But music just makes no sense at all. It's as close to pure magic as anything in a godless universe can get; differences in air pressure making you feel a certain way. There's no need for it, it's pointless, it serves no purpose, but it's the most exquisitely delicately arranged thing and it can transform your entire world for the duration of a song. It's a total mystery to me.

I usually have to be intoxicated before I can let myself listen to the soundtrack of Interstellar because if I don't, I'll end up bawling. One of the story's themes is abandonment of a child by its parent, something I experienced when I was 9 and my father left us one day and never returned. He decided he was tired of being married and tired of his children and felt we held him back from his true potential (he never did reach that potential, LOL) so he walked out. That was pretty rough on a child of my age, especially when nobody would tell me anything. So...yeah, the music to me rips the scab off that wound and it makes me cry every time.

I also associate it with lost time. It makes me imagine life as a bystander to tjme. The inability to change what is, and what isn’t. We can only direct the course of our lives, we cannot control it. We are space travelers floating through our destinies 🤔 idk that’s pretentious. But that’s how I think sometimes.

Right now, there are people all over the world who are just like you. They're either lonely, they're missing somebody, they're depressed, they're hurt, they're scared from the past, they're having personal issues no one knows about, they have secrets you wouldn't believe. They wish, they dream and they hope. And right now, they are sitting there reading these words, and I'm writing this for you so you don't feel alone anymore. Always remember, don't be depressed about the past, don't worry about the future, and just focus on today. If today's not so great don't worry! Tomorrow's a new chance. If you are reading this, be sure to share this around to make others feel better. Have a nice day. :)

Wow, I can't believe it's been over two years since this video was published, yet I still find myself coming back to it. The combination of Hans Zimmer's music and the kalimba is simply magical. This video is a perfect example of how music can truly captivate and move us!

Poetic! I hope that some fragment of our existence will remain through the eons, even if there's no one and nothing to see it. Perhaps it will be the tiniest ripple in the cold thin soup of the end of everything. On the stage of time we are so unbelievably small.
