Man it would be heaven to operate in a truck like that. But I'm not sure it's very practical. Some of the spots I have to back into are twisty and tight. Kraft Foods Atlanta is no joke. No room for error. That tractor with a trailer would not fit. Truckers don't like to lose load opportunities because they often need a particular load to get them to their next pickup. BUT, if you have a dedicated route. This would be fine. Cheers

Now that is truck life that's like Van life with a truck like that. You don't have to get an apartment if you're going to different places carry loads of goods. You can live on your truck and save times of money. That's a great thing to do, but you must love driving and love being on the road, then this could work.

I started driving trucks on international work in 1973 running weekly from Ireland to France /Italy /Switzerland and many more places, had to be a round trip a week to make serious money , that involved a 22hour ferry crossing from Ireland to France and the same on the return leg…I think I earned my stripes , I much prefer European trucks to American , ridiculously long wheelbases needing a football field to turn , in comparison the European tractors were far more advanced and far more powerful… I started driving a truck with a 13 speed road ranger box and had that truck for 4 years, then Volvo and then Scanias, there are no trucks like a Scania with the V8 engine, the last one I had was an S650 running at 44tons or 97,000 lbs …Fully automatic and for the last 12 years of my career I drove automatic transmissions, wild horses wouldn’t have got me back to manual transmissions , so old fashioned and out of their time, I could let that Scania come down the Mountain Mont Blanc crossing from Italy into France letting this truck run at 40 mph using the engine retarder and not touching my service brakes, sorry this driver is a modernists when it comes to serious truck driving…

When you like blue it’s a nice truck,,and for all the people that are negative on this truck don’t know what they are talking about,30 years ago I bought the first big sleeper payed in 3 years, bought the next one in 1998 with a 124 inch sleeper on a 379 Pete 7-8 years later I put another sleeper on different layout payed cash for it,I exualy made millions with it hauling hitech machinery, average payload 26000 lbs, empty weight was 39000 lbs pulling a stepdeck canastoga, when you focus on trucking you can make a lot of money and my average over those 30 years is less then 100000 miles a year, average 10-12 % empty miles ,,,,I say when you complain all the time, about trucking why are you doing it,there is at least 50-60 % that make lots of money I did,,, 0:51
