Drove many Volvos in the last 22 years of my51year career. I see they finally acknowledged they needed larger grills to overcome the high engine temps they developed. Whoever thought the forward facing air intake in the cent er of the hood, has absolutely no idea what happens when its snowing or freezing rain. D13's especially need lot of airflow to run right. plugged intake, no power, truck shuts down in middle of the highway. Did they ever come up with wiper motors that last more than 6 months? Still need some work there, Volvo.

Interesting take on things. I never drove Volvo, lot of drivers like it, two of my friends wouldn't drive anything else, but they complain about the plastic "things" starting to rattle after while - all kinds of things, and you have to buy always new replacement because it's not fixable. I drive old Pete 379, and I wouldn't change it for anything. If course it needs a maintenance just like any truck it's age but it's built for heavy miles. Mine's got close to 3 million, and I would love to reachy retirement with it. Volvo has tons of space inside it, and I think that's why many drivers prefer it over other trucks.

Driven many Volvos in the past 45 years including Volvo/White cabovers. This is a great looking truck, but all I can think of is driving down the road and trying to find that dam rattle somewhere. All the components, cabinets eventually come loose and you need a large roll of duct tape to fix the issues. After 3.5 million miles finely gave it up this past summer. This is a truck for working - it's not an RV. Adding in a small personal bathroom would be expensive, heavy, and lead to mold growth. Margins are already lower than ever before. Beautiful exterior but they totally missed the boat when it comes to interior. Way less useable storage space than my 24. Nets and shelves where there used to be cupboard space. I'm thinking that they're still designing the cabinets for these trucks. They do look a little too barren to spend weeks in. Driver's helm seems nice, but without the rest of the truck to support being out for three / five weeks, I'm thinking that these were made with regional use in mind. Can you imagine asking a driving team to load this up with two people's gear and food? 10:21 - "no step" right were windshield guys stand to change out windshields on most trucks. I'm... concerned.

Plenty of electronic shit to break. Every Volvo my company owns has tons of busted sensors, switches & info clusters that light up like a cmas tree with codes. Also, the old shift selector pads were in a stupid location, requiring drivers to take eyes off the road to look right & down to shift. These things need a galley toilet and a sink and it’s a perfect set up. Put them where the table is and have the bed on a platform that can be raised and lowered. The toilet could even be hidden in a compartment and you could still have a small chair and table back there.

why the physical side mirrors. They could use outside camera on both sides and screen inside the cabin.

Love the style of the grille. And the drive silver hub caps. The regular outlets are nice. Even though you are not to be in the top bunk when moving such a nice safety feature. Normally I am told you can't see in the rear windows but you have a cool idea of a shade. Did like the wood accent but fealt should be more. The seats to me looked strange. Like the idea of covering the fuel cap but some driver will forget to close. The engine area didn't look like any changes. The drive area did seem different.

The cab seems extremely small. No storage at all. It all looks cheap

That’s same exact color of my pickup, must be a sign. Don’t like that mesh gate for upper bunk. I know it’s for safety during spike stops but where do you go when the load comes through that back wall during same spike stop?? Beautiful truck though. I’m retired now but I tell everyone for a team you can’t beat it.

Do you have speed humps in your country? Ground clearance look very compromised and would be suitable only to flat surfaces. It is prone to suffer from scratches on the sides. However I must give credit where it is due, this truck is revolutionizing the way we have been hauling the trailers to new dimensions. Drivers will now feel at home on board at last. We'll done Volvo ✔️

Supongo que se puede regular la altura con respecto al piso, porque en mi país, no podría circular ni 100 metros sin destrozarse contra los desniveles. La cama no parece ser apropiada para alguien de mas altura de 1,70 mts.

SO many complainers all the time in the comments. Ironically, if you had these same people design their own dream truck from ground up, they STILL wouldnt like it fully when it was done!
