Best video on the Y90 topic. I qualified and had to stop Avastin for 8 weeks. I did 18 rounds of 5fu. 9 with oxaliplatin until I got severe neuropathy.

Dr. Sze performed this procedure on me in 2006. SIRspheres killed all my liver tumors (26) which were metastised kidney cancer. I felt no pain during the procedure since I was medicated. Afterwards I felt no effects, though I was warned i might be fatigued. Dr. Sze and his staff are compassionate and caring. I rate my treatment as superior. I believe that this treatment saved my life and I recommend it to anyone who qualifies.

Thank You Dr. Sze for this radioembolization educational video. My mom just had her mapping yesterday and the doctor blocked 11 points in the liver. She is going in next Wednesday to have the yttrium-90 inject into the liver. She had colon cancer spread to liver and lung too. I will make sure my son in arm distance from my mom. Will let you know how everything goes after next Wednesday.

For how long have you been practising this treatment? What is the survival rate after? How much more efficient this technology than chemoembolization?
