I've died and been handicapped for years now but I'm getting better 💪 Doctors and specialists can't tell me what I can do anymore. I've been to the "other side" and back. Which is why I'm disabled currently. Do what you can while you're still here. This world needs everyone and everything it can use. I was put onto caskey back in 2014/2015 by a kid named Andrew that I was working at kfc with at the time ha, I believe letter to my father was the first song he showed me and I hella dived into caskeys music from then on. Sadly I didn’t get to hang out with Andrew too much or get to know him very well before he passed away in 2016. Since Andrew was a big caskey fan and a rapper himself and since he showed me my favorite rapper I wanted to have the chance to let caskey know about Andrew. In 2017 I found out caskey was gonna be playing a show near me and I got to go meet him with some of Andrews closest friends and tell him about Andrew and shit and caskey put on a necklace that had Andrews ashes in the necklace, he literally wore that necklace all day and wore it when he performed on stage and gave it back after the show. It was hella mind blowing to me to be meeting my favorite rapper in person and the person that introduced me to him and his music he’s literally wearing his ashes around his neck like how many people get an experience like that regardless if caskey isn’t the biggest known rapper or artist in the scene. That whole day was amazing, caskey was hella cool and genuinely humble and made me respect and fuck with him as a human being and as an artist way more after that day. There’s no other rappers music who speaks to me more on a spiritual and personal level than caskeys music. So much of his story I find so incredibly relatable that when I’m listening to its almost like he’s rapping to me or about my life or some shit. I’ve watched my whole family fall apart to drugs and shit, I’ve always felt like the blacksheep in my family, at school, and especially in this society. Caskeys music has helped me get through some really dark times and watching his career and hearing his story through his music gives me alot of inspiration and hope that I can figure shit out and live this life the way I want without any limitations! I really hope I get to see him perform at least one more time and get a chance to meet him again someday and thank him for his art!
