Never forget Colin chasing back after Malcolm Macdonald (one of the fastest forwards of his day) & taking the ball from him in mid stride almost without Macdonald realising. Outstanding player and great servant to the club!

Fortunate to have seen the great teams of the early '70's in my days as a young fan, the stand out memory being the amazing win against R. Madrid back in 1975. Unfortunately doubt anyone will ever get that chance again. Great memories of my junior school days. Legends one and all.

A truly wonderful player, and a perfect replacement for Dave McKay in central defence. Colin had everything as a player and it was a true pleasure to see him play. His partnerships with both Roy and Peter Daniels were superb.

This guy was a terrific player and have watched derby from New Zealand since 1970 so was delighted to see them do so well then and hopefully one day we can get back up to the premier league or 1st division as it was then

Wonderful player. Remember meeting him at the old Midland Hotel when he signed for us, a superstar in a Derby shirt. Privilege to watch him as we won the league twice and played in Europe. Hope that one day we’ll make it back up there but so unlikely for us to ever win the league again. Great times watching Toddo at the BBG
