Superb interview! Would love to see him in the Iran team- he would add a lot to our attack, and it’s a no brainer to at least have him alongside the other options. His message to Iranians at the end was also very sweet and says a lot about our culture that he holds the people at such high regard, even if he doesn’t end up playing for us! But hopefully he will 🤞♥️

Not feeling confident on this- see it as a Hageswa situation which could get long and drawn out - without the grandfather's documentation we won't get Fifa declaration on him. Guess it's really up to his Aunt and how hard she works on this? His dad too needs to get a passport and that could take a serious amount of time. It seems also a little like the Beitashour situation by the time he gets called there may not be time to integrate him in the squad.

Thank you so much for your generosity. Much appreciated. Believe you're talking about Aria Jasuru Hasegawa. His situation was a bit different in the fact if he wanted to become an Iranian national team player, by Japanese law he'd have to give up his Japanese nationality as they don't or didn't accept duel nationals. Steven Beitashour's family are fully Iranian so his call-up still wasn't as difficult it was more of a technical decision. For Dennis it's tricky but it's not impossible. We'll update you if anything changes.

@@GolBezan the dual nationality issue was just an excuse- an article explained that it was aria's mother that was against his son having Iranian citizenship that's why he never made the move. There are ways around the dual nationality laws in Japan

Very good interview, guys. I hope that he knows that he becomes a sub for azmoun and Taremi in order to get rid of Moghanlou. I think he also underestimates the tm. For sure If he had only iranian passport, he would never ever plays in a good team in Europe. Not to be harsh but, that is reality
