Dear sheikh before quoting that "600 years of bloodshed and tears I'm assuming you meant the Ottoman empire presence in ballkan" Plz plz just learn the history of ballkan and byzantine empire how did slavic ppl expanded in Europe? You'll find out that Ottoman empire has been invited to protect the Catholics in Croatia Bosnia and Albania most of those three countries had already converted to orthodox through brutality and persecution, you don't have to go that far in time to find out what happened then, just look what happened between year 1990-2000 that should give you great picture of who Serbs and slavic ppl were, don't look at them now as the time passes ppl change mentality (is there any explanation why Croatians were murdered for? then the holocaust with Bosnians later nearly the same with Kosovans) Now we are aware that ballkan is mixed race meaning Serbian ppl are all over ballkan so are the Croatians, Bosnians and Albanians So we don't pretend to be a different race or something, **History of ballkan it's very complicated until late 19th century ballkan was full of tribes each tribe had their own Prince their own rules and culture/tradition that reflects even on the now days dialect This says a lot** So those tribes with different religion/language/culture/traditions couldn't face the bigger tribes they were loosing lands against the bigger tribes so they needed protection This is how Ottomans started war right in the middle of the ballkan otherwise they could've started war taking the tribes one by one on the row From Bulgaria Greece then Serbia Bosnia Albania Croatia, Simply why most of Albanians Bosnians Croatians didn't make war with Ottomans at that time because it was them who asked the Ottomans for help, I'm giving so much explanation because Serbs always come up with conspiracy theory Yes Serbs were brutal ppl then and still can be now if a chance it's given to them, it's proven from year 1990 to 2000 what Serbs can do especially with unarmed civilians, just mentioned above
