Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin (TSMY), Malaysia’s eighth prime minister, is widely regarded as a principled leader who played a pivotal role in addressing some of the nation’s most pressing political challenges. His reputation as a good leader was cemented by his courage to speak out against the corruption surrounding the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) scandal, even when it posed significant risks to his political career. Respect!

During Muhyiddin's tenure, I never heard rhetoric about race or religion. During the pandemic, he empathized with the people's struggles of being unable to work. During that time, we received government aid, and we managed to get through the pandemic. Everyone received assistance regardless of race or skin color. Muhyiddin was truly a Malaysian prime minister who served the country. Although I'm not a PN supporter, I must admit that he did a good job. He never blamed the wealthy elite or intellectuals when Malaysia was in bad shape. He understood that his duty was to the nation, and his focus remained on Malaysia, not elsewhere.
