He is the great grandson of Allama Iqbal, who was a poet and literary scholar, and the nephew of Javed Iqbal. Mian Amiruddin, his father's grandfather, became the first Muslim Lord Mayor of Lahore.

Yousaf sb, namatey, khali aapki khatir ye discussion mainey poora dekha aur suna. Aapney bilkul sahi kaha ki pakistan ki govt ya janta ho, apney desh ko duba rahey hain.
