No kidding, Sherlock. Conservatives have been saying this for months. And not all conservatives are violent. The vast majority are peaceful. I would go a step further and say people need to stop vilifying conservatives. They’re mostly regular people too who care about the country.

I never suggested, my dear Watson, that all conservatives are violent. It is absolutely clear that at this particular juncture in history, the left is more violent than the right. Keep in mind also that what you're seeing in this video is only a short excerpt from a half-hour conversation.

My thoughts exactly!!! Politicians only pay attention and take action when they are personally attacked, but don't give a hoot when their constituents are attacked. I am shocked that KZbin hasn't "cancelled" you. Until then, keep speaking out!!!

Thank you! Indeed the spectacle of congressmen crying about January 6 during the impeachment hearings, but being oblivious to regular Americans suffering from violence for months, was truly nauseating. They have forgotten that the government is only a means, and that the wellbeing of the people is the end. Now they view government as an end in itself. (And my online presence is probably too small for KZbin to notice me, although in fairness KZbin seems somewhat less totalitarian than Twitter or Facebook. But perhaps it's just a question of time.)

@@BenedictBeckeld Yes of course, you are still "flying under the radar" as it were. I am trying to promote your channel as much as I can. You also had a terrific article on "follow the science" in the Federalist. I was shocked that the Federalist has claims on your work. Not what I would have expected of an organization which claims to be proponents of free speech and conservative ideals. Those who claim to, or demand that, people "follow the Science", are maliciously ignorant, as far as I'm concerned, of both the true purpose and philosophy of science. The worst offenders, unfortunately are scientists themselves. They should start with Karl Popper to gain some enlightenment if they are capable of such.

Thank you very much, I really appreciate the support! When it comes to The Federalist, they are somewhat protective of online dissemination, it appears, but in print media they are more open (in my book on Oikophobia that will be coming out I wanted to reproduce a paragraph or two from the article you mentioned, and they said it's no problem at all). It's interesting you should mention Popper, because although I like some of his work, in the Oikophobia book I actually trace some of the attitude about "Following the science" to him, i.e. he comes across as basing himself on science while he in fact is only stating his personal opinions. But I guess it depends which book of his one reads.

@@BenedictBeckeld Another Dr. Fauci! One day he says one thing, the next another. Oh, well. I was specifically referring to his (Popper's) falsification theory. BTW, when do you expect your book to be released and have you planned an audio version of it?

True, the falsification theory is not bad, though I also like Feyerabend's critique of Popper's philosophy of science in "Against Method". I will make a separate video on the release of the book once we have a more precise date. I hadn't given much thought to an audio version, but it's a good idea; I'll ask.

Could you say what news network is this? I never heard of them. But I agree with your pov on this Congress breach, especially that both sides have to be held accountable for the violence that’s been happening since late May.
