Your interview story reminds me of mine, its so funny because when it get to my turn the guy told me they've been waiting for me that what kept me so long. I can never forget that moment, it all felt like a conversation in less than 3 minutes i was done. They checked about 2 to 3 docs and that was it. I prayed for favor before my interview and I received it.

I had same experience with the thugs when I went for a B1/B2 visa interview in Abuja and they said same thing to me about my confirmation page too. I just ignored them and went in.

@@opeyemiogunade6797 the same day they gave me my medical packet for travel purpose, they told me they'll send the requested medical results to the embassy. They asked for my interview date. But one helpful thing I did was to collect one of the nurse's email address and I sent her a mail two days to my interview asking her to confirm if my medical results have been forwarded to the embassy of which she replied me 'yes' . I'll advice you to do the same,,,,I can send you her email for followup if you don't mind . By the way, I also did mine at IOM ikeja

There will be another interview waiting for you in the U.S. right after ur 90 days K1 visa. After 90 days, you will have to file ur visa adjustment status and that’s where things get a little tougher. You and your newly married husband will be scheduled an interview where you both will be interviewed separately in two different rooms. So be prepared for everything ahead of time.

During my time nothing like gate pass, or pay for parking space, once I passed through the gate I waited for them to call my interview time and que up and was asked to show DS1 confirmation, Appointment letter and MRV slip passport. Our case has been approved since October and been waiting to schedule an interview with the consulate here in Lagos.i haven’t really seen any video showing that timeline. You mentioned your interview being in April but is it of the same year of the January when you made that video about waiting for nvc.

Hi hi , unfortunately the video I made documenting that process was deleted by KZbin after a while and honestly I don’t quite remember every detail as it’s been almost 3 years but yes I had my interview April of the same year. For K1 visa you’re the one to schedule your interview yourself but you need to get a go ahead from the embassy before you do that. They need to send you a notice, In my case I remember sending them a detailed email (included case number petitioner and beneficiary details etc) and asked for the go ahead to schedule my interview and a couple hours later I was sent the document if I remember correctly.

I thought the next thing would be for nvc to send a welcome letter or so cause the last time I sent an inquiry to nvc, they said Nigeria is currently not taking application of this kind , they sent my invoice id and case number too when we asked for it , pretty much something similar to your experience. I don’t want to be wasting more time if I could actually make a move . Please guide me. I am very grateful for you taking time off to respond .
