The acting, the voice and the accent, can‘t get enought of him.

Athos has always been a favorite of mine in every incarnation, but this series (which I sadly only got to discover this month) and THIS Athos is everything I ever dreamed of. Kudos to Tom for his portrayal and his understanding of the character and his own head canons make appreciate his work a lot more.

Thank you for uploading this. I distinctly remember the scene Athos laughed. I thought it was written in the script. It was such an important moment not only with his character development but his relationship development with D'Artagnan. What an intriguing actor.

It's 2x05 in which Athos gets himself kidnapped back to his land in Pinon. He decides to fight along but they desperately lacks weaponry so he and D'art go back to his old estate to retrieve some. Athos comments on a pistol they find there and D'art makes a light joke out of it. The laugh comes out like a loud sigh and Athos' mood rolls straight downhill in a true Athos fashion right afterwords, so I'm not surprised it didn't register as laughter ;*) But prior to that scene I was thinking I hadn't seen him laugh so when that happened I was SO THRILLED. And with this interview that moment became my fav in the entire series. Sorry for the long comment!!!!

I was so happy when he had a healthier relationship with Sylvie. he was loyal and brave, and deserved someone who had his same passion, but would help him instead of sending him in a downward spiral

Ashley Morales I just wish he and Sylvie had more chemistry and less of a forced romance. I feel that if Sylvie had developed into a really strong female FRIEND instead of lover to Athos, it would had come off as less forced, and maybe, during the last few episodes of season three, maybe would hint at Sylvie and Athos someday having feelings for each other. This would allow fans to ease inti Sylvie more and be more likely for Athos' character.

Erin F I agree. Same with Pathos. I feel that the writers just thought "oh shit. We forgot about him. Just write him in some girl." They REALLY cut short such a promising show. It rushed too many things the final season

I tend to think the fact that Arthos *does* miss, and still love Milady, is part of why he hurts so. The betrayal that she lied to him, yes, but also that he can’t just hate and forget her. Loving someone you can’t trust, and who has hurt you personally, is much more painful that simply having an untrustworthy enemy who hurt you.
