the beautiful thing about Vulf is that they're just session musicians who evolved together by jamming in the studio, as opposed to a group of egotistical wanna-be-rockstars who are fighting over control of their fame and fortune and image. the reason so many people are responding to them goes well beyond their musical ability alone; people recognize their authenticity because much of the music industry today is so obviously fake and manufactured. we're so used to watching the solo diva or the self-righteous rap god... we apparently forget the magic of live collaboration and real artists working together until we see it happening.

That can't be the whole story though. 'Cause there are a ton of excellent session musicians out there and most of them will never sell out Madison Square Garden. Jack Stratton might not be your stereotypical egotistical frontman but he surely has the same sort of soaring talent and magnetic persona that makes a band stick together for 10 years and reach for greatness.
