Ali Campbell, " GEE BABY, THE PRODUCE PHIL PRATT was mastering the new release for ALI CAMPBELL and he was putting the A SIDE as " SOUL SISTER" but after we heard " GEE BABY " which intended for the B SIDE , myself ( LEON and STUMPEP) WE TOLD PHILL PRATT THAT " GEE BABY " should be the A SIDE for SURE or Double A SIDE and PHIL went along with it and the rest is history. Yes I, Al cambell a bad singer from day 1 especially early 80s , every Al Cambell was a scorcher ,weather lovers rock or culture. Jah Love is my favourite Al Cambell tune nowadays check it out people. Oh yea when I was a youth in 82/83 & just joined the big sound from my hometown World Crisis by Al Cambell was a banger .its so relevant in times like these. 👊🏿👊🏿👊🏿

Sounds like Al has been bun out plenty of times. Would be good to hear other sides of the story. That apart I can quite believe him cause he isn’t the only one to speak these words. So sad that the music that given so much pleasure is littered with greed and selfishness
