I am so happy to hear you are doing well!!!! Love you for your great inspiration! I lost my dad last year and both my grandfathers not long after. Finally playing again it really is an addiction playing the violin. It will always be there waiting for you when you are ready I need it and it needs me!

I have had shattered vertebrae and bulged discs since a car accident 45 years ago, as well as other "accidents" along the way that have broken my back and spine in 8 places. = Yes, my back is a mess, but since my last spine surgery, as far as violin making and playing go, I'm doing alright. :)
