Interview with animator, illustrator and director Robert Valley

In this Juicecast I spend time with Robert Valley who is one on the most talented animators and directors in the art world today. I have worked together with Robert in several studios on various projects over the years, and he has been a great teacher and huge influence and inspiration on my art. His short film 'Pear Cider and Cigarettes' won an Annie award and was nominated for an academy award. In 2019 Rob directed the short film 'Zima Blue' for Netflix' anthology series Love, Death and Robots. Currently he is working on a variety of short and long form animated projects.

I was mesmerized with Love, Sex and Robots. At the end of the season I asked myself: Why those artists don't use those old stories from the magazine Kripta? I think it would be a huge success!

8:40 unless you have a drug charge, you are allowed to return to the USA. There are waivers that can be signed over work visa issue mishaps. If Robert wants to return to the USA, if he gets an O-1 Visa sponsorship he can easily return.
