it's interesting to see how he describe his career path. instead of using what important movies/animation he made as the milestone he used who and what he came across. it also reflects on his works that he likes to explore relationships between people and get inspired by them. this talk is one of the weirdest i've ever seen. but he's also one of the most talented artists of our time

Like he said he feels naked. Maybe because his art is his own style and method he likes to keep it personal and by keeping his process hidden he can play with it any way he wants without judgment because really he is doing this for himself.

I mean... the guy mentioned he's got great taste but not technique. And that he finds different tastes in paintings interesting. Objectively speaking here, but Van Gogh is not really all that skillful compared to the other masters. So was Picasso, but their tastes are really unique.
@Lyonessi2 жыл бұрын
@@Adam-kx2tp he didn't claim there was a strict order but expressed where he found people would show more taste than technique in their work to those who showed a masterful balance.
@Adam-kx2tp2 жыл бұрын
@@reese8050 Yeah but Van Gogh was actually technically sound. Google the preparatory drawings for the hill in montmare. He had the ability to work realistically he just chose not to. Picasso's drawings when he was a child already surpasses the skill level of the artist being showcased here. These people actually deliberately painted in a weird way because they had already surpassed what this guy is talking about so they were trying to find something new and interesting that can sell and compete with the the styles and climate of those times.
