Итервью прекрасного режиссёра, художника кинокамеры, и интеллигентного, интересного человека. Редко можно видеть режиссёра с настояшей эмпатией, который не просто мастерски, как вуайерист, следит за своими персонажами в фильме, но и интересуется ими, изменениями в них, после пережитых страданий, и при этом всё не превращается в примитивную мелодраму, а остаётся на вершине искусства, трагедии. Спасибо!

My fellow Dane, have seen most of his films. Like "Ordet" the best, grew up with most of the actors, although they were older than me. Very proud of him.

If it wasn’t for Charlie Chaplin. He would be my favorite silent film director. Absolutely genius, the direction in Passion of Joan of Arc is perfection.

Carl Th Dreyer var din ener. Ja. Han overskred budgettet Carl Th Dreyer overskred budgettet. Ja - han blev kritiseret for sin langsomhed. Idag er han et ikon blandt filmmagere/ instruktører. Han ventede på det rigtige øjeblik mellem lys og mørke.
