Interview with Dr Celia Knight, Co-founder of the Gatsby Plant Science Summer School 💚

Dr Celia Knight started her academic life as a Microbiologist, at the University of Bristol. She is co-founder of the Gatsby Plant Science Summer School (GPSSS). The GPSSS was established by the University of Leeds in 2005 and is now part of the Gatsby Plant Science Education Programme (GPSEP) at the University of Cambridge since 2014.
The aim of the GPSSS is to increase undergraduate interest, confidence and engagement for the curious who haven’t yet explored plant science. The GPSSS will also give undergraduates first insights into postgraduate studies and careers in plant science related fields. The 2024 GPSSS, in its 20th year running, will take place in late June/early July.
