I congratulate you both for your courageous stand against the persecution of Ahmadi Muslims. It is truly inspiring to see people fighting for what is right, even in the face of adversity. Your commitment to opposing discrimination is a testament to your strong moral principles. The persecution and discrimination of Ahmadi Muslims is a pressing issue that requires the attention and action of those who care about justice and equality. You exemplify the compassion and empathy that we should all strive for. I wish you well in your endeavours and hope that you can continue to make important contributions.

There is nothing in the Quran that says someone who says there is a prophet after Muhammad is not Muslim. The Quran considers Abraham, Joseph, Moses and Jesus muslim. Ahmedis believe in Muhammad too so that makes them just as Muslim as anyone else. The Quran says Muhammad is the seal of Prophets - it doesn’t clarify whether it is the seal of finality or the seal of authenticity - certainly there are other references on the authenticity of his prophethood. In any event who are we to judge whether someone is Muslim or not, that is Allah’s role so we should not be taking on that role by declaring anyone Muslim or non-Muslim because Allah knows best.

It is always wonderful and pleasing to listen to dr Craig .he is always clear and polite in his discussion.Truely whenever I listen to him it reminds me about the various versus in Quran wherein it mentioned about divine nature of some Christians and quran upholds their truthfulness. I hope dr Craig will work as a bridge between Christians and muslims in this era to the effect Quran emphasizes the followers of the divine book to come together. My best wishes always for him

This was an amazing interview. I have great respect for Craig and his way of thinking. Your channel can grow fast if you improve your "Keyword" game.
@DrJavadTHashmi
@DrJavadTHashmi Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your kind words. Can you explain the "keyword" game?
@atifbangash
@atifbangash Жыл бұрын
@@DrJavadTHashmi To start, think about the words and phrases that someone might use to search for your video. For instance, if you're posting a cooking video, you might use keywords like "recipe," "cooking," "how-to," and so on. Make sure to include these keywords in the video's title, description, and tags. You can also use hashtags to categorize your video and make it more discoverable to users who are searching for specific topics. For example, if you're creating a video about a vegan recipe, you could use hashtags like # veganfood, # plantbased, or # healthycooking. Just remember, it's important to use relevant and specific keywords and hashtags that accurately describe your video's content. Avoid using too many hashtags or using irrelevant ones, as this can make your video appear spammy and hurt its visibility in search results. I hope this helps because you are a special scholar.

Learning how to optimize your content through keyword usage is a gradual process. You can scan profiles of other content creators who produce similar content as yours and incorporate their keywords into your descriptions. You can maybe even use their names as keywords. This approach can help you get grouped into the same filters as those creators and increase the likelihood of your content showing up when users search for their content.

Great discussion. I believe it has helped expand my own mind. Small note though: in terms of Arab tribalism, you referred to Bilal in this as "Black" which seems to assume that "Blackness" was exclusive from "Arabness", which despite being commonly assumed, doesn't appear to have been the case based based on a number of classical reference. Bilal was born to an "Ethiopian" (Abyssinian) mother and an Arab father as Dr Considine correctly aknowledges. According to the tradition, he was dark brown in complexion, but he was not the darkest amongst the Arabs. There are a few Muslim scholars now who discuss this, most notably Dawud Walid, who references the semantic usage of color terminology by early Muslim scholars, including linguistic scholarship by the likes of scholars like Ibn Manzur. The Arabs themselves apparently heald a quasi-Black identity themselves in opposition to the "Red" (ḥumra) Persians and Romans, and they "prided themselves on their black complexion (sawād al-lawn)" (Al-Jāḥiẓ - Risa’il Al-Jahiz, 4 vols. (Cairo, 1964) I:207.) Anywho, keep up the quality work, your skills as a host get better and better.

A catholic who believes Muhammad is a prophet? Makes zero sense no matter how you look at it.

It does make sense , not for you surely but to us Muslims , what better way for someone from catholic faith to admit that his research is indeed the truth about Mohammad being a prophet . All Christians deny this claim , but the Christian guy put his foot in the Christians’s mouth .

Thank you both for this podcast! So if you studied the different groups in Islam, it is only the Lahore! Ahmadiyya (not the Qadiani) who believes in the real finality of prophethood. No new or old prophet can come after The Holy prophet Muhammad.

How do you know no new prophet can come after Prophet Muhammad? The Quran doesn’t say this. It only confirms and clarifies what other prophets had brought and completes the Revelation through the Prophet.

@@SAli-yb9us the only thing that is left is 1/46 part of prophethood...like the prophet saw himself said. A part is not complete. This is an important thing to understand. The one who's claiming this, will explain it perfectly, but there are always people who fight it with lies.

The issue though is sugarcoating the prophet as loving Christian's, so he seems more merciful than God. But the quran has a mixed message. In 4:171 they are refuted for trinity in a gentle manner. In 5:72-73 its harsh manner calling them kufr disbelievers and what not. 2:62 is pluralistic so which is it ? Is the quran ok with Christian's or not. 2:62 or 5:72 ? Which is it ?

The verse in Surah 2 says: 2:62 The believers, the Jews, the Christians, and the Sabaeans all those who believe in God and the Last Day and do good deedswill be rewarded by their Lord; they shall have no fear, nor shall they grieve. Who are ‘those who believe in God’? Do those who take Jesus as god believe in God as the only god. No they don’t. Are those who believe in the trinity believe in only one God? Of course not. They believe in plurality of gods. Are all Christians Trinitarians? Of course not. There are many types of Christianity. There are many Christians who don’t believe Jesus to be a god. Those Christians are the ones called out in verse 62. There are no ways around the verses in Surah 5. And the trinitarian Christians and those Modalists will be in trouble and they will have no helpers. In the end, God is the judge, no one else is. 5:72 Indeed, they are deniers of the truth who say, God is the Christ, the son of Mary. For the Christ himself said, Children of Israel, serve God, my Lord and your Lord. *If anyone associates anything with God, God will forbid him the Garden and the Fire will be his home.* The wrongdoers shall have no helpers 5:73 They are deniers of the truth who say, God is one of three. There is only One God. If they do not desist from so saying, *a painful punishment is bound to befall such of them as are bent on denying the truth* 5:74 Why do they not turn to God and ask for His forgiveness? God is forgiving and merciful.

@@BenM61 you have no idea how the trinity works. No christian believes in multiple gods
@BenM61
@BenM61 Жыл бұрын
@@Cassim125 you people always say that but in reality you have three different persons and each person is a god. Ergo three gods. You can’t have your cake and eat it too. Either you believe in one person one god or you believe in a trinity of gods. Trinitarians are tritheists not monotheists at all. A monotheist Christian would believe the father is the only god like Jesus was supposed to have said: Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.
