They actually said Eddie didn’t like Melvin cause he felt like the group didn’t need a bass singer.

Everyone involved needed this tour. Eddie, David, and the Temps needed this! It was a big deal. They should’ve done an HBO special or TV special with the reunion. Eddie wanted to stay in the group but Otis went back to the 5 man line-up when the tour dates were done.

Too bad she didn’t prepare for that opportunity. She was weak. Love Eddie❤. What a voice!

No clarification that they were true bloodline.
@kingofchi12994 ай бұрын
They weren't blood related but for those Melvin considered as friend, he called them his cousin.

Melvin also said he was related to Richard Street.

Eddie Kendricks has a deep voice for a falsetto singer. 😅🎤🎶

This tour/reunion could’ve been so much bigger than it was. It started in 1982 and ended in 1982.
@ghanasoul17 күн бұрын
I think if David Ruffin was on point by showing up for all the shows, it would’ve been much more successful. Eddie, David and the Temps line at that time, needed this reunion show. Eddie and David’s solo careers fizzled out by this time, the Temps didn’t have a hit so this reunion show was a major boost for all their careers.

Who is the interviewer? It looks like their sitting on the floor, am i right?
@glendatheartist2 ай бұрын
They are sitting on the floor of the Fisher Theatre. It aired on channel 7 abc news in Detroit in 1982, am not sure if the interviewers name. Perhaps will do some research and see if I can find out.
@Darva-sl3jh8 күн бұрын
The interviewer is mediocre, but Eddie is so handsome. And even his speaking voice draws you in.
