Wow amazing. When Chiron went direct in Aries it was into my return in Aries in 2019 and I went through a spiritual awakening at that time. It’s been huge and so transformative in my life. It's so true about information....before the widespread use of cell phones and the internet, life was much different....and I wonder if more information is always for the better.........I think of how I would gather with my friends at Border's Book Store for coffee and to browse the magazines and catch up with one another, it almost feels like a different lifetime......it was only 20 years ago, circa the year 2000.....but oh, how I miss those days, talking to people instead of being glued to a computer or phone screen 24/7.....technology almost seems so dehumanizing in a way.........of course it is important to spread information that is vital to our health and well-being......but it can also cause the destruction of society if left unchecked.......

Melanie brought together so many concepts and awareness of Chiron that I had not previously known. I love the concept of Chiron working between the worlds--the known and unknown--teaching us and holding the energy for deep healing for all types of generational as well as individual healing. As a sound healer in my practice I use Chiron a great deal. I feel a tremendous sense of compassion from this beautiful energy that travels the worlds--and how she tied in so much history and present day occurences such as the pandemic. I could have listened to her for much longer--astrology should be part of all school curriculums. It has so much to teach us-----

In my birth chart, Cheiron is in Pisces in the fourth house. I never really understood that because I had a happy childhood and come from a loving family. Over the past few decades, however, stories have surfaced of trauma within my family. Although I was not directly affected by it myself, I did feel the pain of it and struggled with my roots, my first chakra. Since I was a teenager I often felt like the odd one out. I come from a family of practically wise people. I myself had the opportunity to study and go to university. I became a conscious feminist and developed as a lesbian woman. Not things that fitted easily into the village life I came from. I love my parents, sisters and the other family members and the landscape of the area I come from. But I felt alienated. In the past year I discovered that as far as is known (since the Napoleonic era when even ordinary people were recorded in archives) all my ancestors came from a small geographical area, on both sides of the river IJssel in the Netherlands. For centuries they have lived here. At first this information made me feel anxious: living off what the land has to offer, never seeing anything else, heavy clothing, poverty, traditional relationships. I felt myself choking at the very idea. Until a few weeks ago when I sat on the couch and felt a deep acceptance coming up. I suddenly became aware that I am one of them. I belong to them, to those lands I love so much. I am made of it. It occurred to me that among my ancestors there must have been women with lesbian feelings and men with homosexual feelings. How difficult that must have been for them. There was no way around it. Or maybe they managed to put a spin on it. Women who also wanted something different than living according to the traditional patterns that were mapped out for them. Ancestors who perhaps wanted more from life than the land and river had to offer them. I did get those opportunities and grabbed them with both hands. Since childhood I have had a fascination with natural peoples; in Africa, Native Americans, Aborigines. Now I appear to be a native myself. This is so healing and goes so deep. I feel my roots and my connection to the earth very strongly here now. The meadows, the floodplains, the farmlands, the groves, the skies, the birds, the animals, the flowers, the smells; they belong to me and I belong to them! I need time to process all this. The alienation falls away. I now really feel part of this region and of a long family line. However, with my own authentic experience of how life can be and with what I may be able to contribute to a more sincere life for others. With my life I want to honor my ancestors who perhaps also would have liked to get more out of their lives than time and circumstances offered them. I feel old pain, the limitations in which people from generations before me have had to live. The danger of being excluded, of being isolated. Or living cut off from their feelings and their life force. All this has a deep effect on my body, brain and nervous system and on my awareness of my place in the world. This is a personal story. I hesitate to post it here on the internet. But I also experience this as something broader than myself. Your book 'From Trauma to Freedom' I have ordered (I had planned to do so before I became aware of my own process of healing). Also, I see that Oprah Winfrey just released a book 'What happened to you? Conversations on trauma, resilience, and healing.' It can't be a coincidence that now books by several wise women are being released at the same time on healing from trauma. Thank you so much for bringing your insights and wisdom into the world!

Perhaps because her accent is so familiar (having also grown up in Rhodesia), a great sense of comfort accompanied the thrill of joining Melanie's stream of consciousness, like a rush of adventurous freedom, reminiscent of the centaurs galloping the night sky. I loved this discussion Heather! When you started talking about ancestry was when I really lit up! I have, for the past 10 or more years, been researching my ancestry lines and creating books with info I found (stories passed down through the years, tragedies, deaths, the trees, ect) I just take myself away from all the strife in the world and in my family by working on ancestry. I have put myself in the shoes of each and every person in the linage...It's amazing! I took a break during 2020 after the lock-downs started because, for some reason, I became interested in astrology and numerology and ended up here on youtube learning about all of that. I just recently started back on ancestry. I guess the Universe decided I had learned enough to now get an even better picture about the past. I am going to listen to this video again so that I can understand it. You two said something about the last 4 generations....does that start with myself back or is it my parents back?

@@HeatherEnsworth I just purchased the book "From Trauma to Freedom" and can't wait to read it!! I have watched the first 4 videos in the summit and there it was! Jason Engledoe talked about the ancestry! It's not as complicated as I thought...just each of those grandparents that I studied about and the struggles and joy they went through and how that reflects on me. I would ask you which other interview is it with more on the subject but I don't want to miss a thing so I will just watch them one after another and I will find it!! I also relate to Kelly with the dreams. My dreams have been giving me messages! During the time I was working on one of the 4 lines of my ancestry background, I saw the faces of my great-grandparents (several generations back) ..which I believe now means that is the part where my trauma relates...my Dad's side. So, Chiron is the great-grandson of Mercury?! I've been wondering for a while if people who are really psychically affected by the current crisis have a resonance with Chiron or one of his 4 associates. Or even Mercury, for a reason of which I have a panoply of vague theorems. Even though He seems to service ego, always being close to the sun and all that, He is a trickster, ruling doorways, psychopomp that governs all communications between all realms. He definitely services the unconscious as often as ego. I think He is preparing the way for peak technology when/where it converges with the dissolution of ego. Chiron is communicating that painful healing for which we're preparing. And if my wacky theories are wrong about the future, I think it's probably true at an individual level.
