We’re in the top 5 for DV deaths. Our cops side with the men and told my friend if she’d just given her bf her phone he wouldn’t have tried to choke her. Same cop also told her if she was lying she would go to jail if she was lying. So here’s a 22 year old just beginning life and not knowing how anything works being intimidated by an officer to the point she’s too scared now to do anything bc it makes her believe she won’t ever be protected by LE. And guess what? She won’t be.

@@JulezwithTrueCrimeReactions You are absolutely correct about Regina Ward lying. Just watching her gives me chills. I sat in the same chair where Will Folks and apparently Mica Miller sat when Regina Ward harmed me and my children worse than any other person I've ever met. My teenage daughter sat in that same chair the last day I saw Regina Ward. She kept my daughter and I there an hour, waiting in that room, for no reason. We were only there to pick up a piece of paper for her release which she claimed was already signed. While we were there, my teenage son called from home to say a man showed up claiming he was there to "fix the internet." My son, an avid gamer, let him in. I have no idea what was installed on the fuse box in my garage, and when I called HTC, the phone company, they had no record of a service call. Less than 2 weeks before, Regina Ward facilitated FALSE MEDICAL RECORDS at the same facility where Mica Miller was held against her will. I went there based on a recommendation for teen/family counseling. Regina Ward entered paperwork which only indicated I had been present at the place for an appointment (I wasn't even the patient), yet at a hearing she facilitated to be held in my absence, she presented this paperwork as if there was something wrong with me. I have never had an health issue, mental or otherwise. There's not a soul on the planet who would testify otherwise. Still, Regina Ward sold this as part of a mental health narrative. I did not know other false documents were created with my name on them until they were subpoenaed and entered into public record. These documents claim I suffer from depression. I can't express the terror in reading a fabricated document claiming I am "depressed," that no one will acknowledge or do anything to address. My first thought was why they believed they could get away with something like this. My next thought was why anyone would believe I would not dispute this false paperwork. My last thought was, what would they do to me and then produce paperwork claiming I suffered from "depression." It was all so choreographed, it was clear these protocols had been followed many times. How many times have spouse purchased a "crazy" narrative to discredit a spouse for whatever reason? How many times have men been accused of domestic violence for the same purposes? This is what Regina Ward and her ilk are selling at the Horry County Courthouse. As a result of Regina Ward's false paperwork and false testimony, an Order was produced with lightning speed which virtually banned me from all interaction with employees and business associates. The alleged rape in Ohio occurred only a month before this April 21, 2022 hearing. That Order allowed the other parties involved in family-owned businesses to escape forensic accounting. It allowed them to cover up PPP loan fraud, embezzlement, and ongoing allegations of sexual assault, wrongful termination, and retaliation against witnesses. When I reported to Regina Ward, my own attorney that female employees were reporting sexual harassment and minorities were reporting discrimination at three family-owned businesses in Ohio and South Carolina by my spouse and the third party who aided him in their court scheme to defraud, Ward colluded with attorney Heather Moore to harm me in ways I can hardly describe. At that time, in January 2022, I begged her to do something, anything, to prevent further harm to the young women who were begging me for help. Regina Ward would do nothing. She actually aided the opposing parties to harm me, these women and minorities even worse. Though she had hard evidence to disprove every false allegation against me, Regina Ward would not file a Return Motion to the Contempt Motion filed by Heather Moore February 2, 2022 which threatened me with a year in jail if I spoke to any of these women again. According to the lawsuit filed in federal court in Ohio on October 3, 2023, a young female server employed at Rodizio Grill in Columbus, Ohio was allegedly raped in the parking garage of the business by the manager she'd reported to another manager for ongoing, escalating sexual harassment. She was not the only employee who complained. The alleged rape occurred only weeks after Ward and Moore refused to help or even acknowledge the harm being done to women and minorities in our businesses. They refused to do anything after February 1, 2022 when these same parties terminated the employment of every female manager in our businesses in two states and anyone who spoke out against the harm being done. They did not fire the one female manager who was pregnant, simply stripped her of all the tools necessary to do her job so she would be forced to quit. I'm writing all this out here, because I don't understand why Fits appears to be buying what Regina Ward is selling and because Ward has destroyed lives. I told everyone close to me about the excitement I witnessed in Regina Ward's expression at her office on May 10th, 2022. The unspoken question I heard when she peered so closely into my eyes that last day was whether or not she had broken me, her own client. I knew in that instant it was some kind of power trip for her. I knew in that instant that suicide would be a "win" in Ward's column. I said this back in 2022. I wrote about this to the people I am closest to back in 2022. I expressed my fears that Regina Ward sold mental health narratives against her own clients, that she was paid to lose in court, and then she and her paralegal Ashley Roberts set about trying to drive the client crazy themselves primarily through tech manipulation that should chill every man, woman, and child to the bone. They will call my case a marital dispute. They will continue to push a mental health narrative. What else would they say? It's a narrative they can easily sell because there are crazy people, especially in Family Court. With me, that is simply not the case. I am mentally strong, and suicide is not in my DNA. If I die prematurely, I'll die fighting. If that's my fate, then someone must look closer at Regina Ward's client/victims. Of course, I would prefer this investigation happen now before my potential death and before she harms other victims. The people this has been done to are the best people you'll find, people who could not be bought and had no true skeletons as fodder for extortion and manipulation. These people deserve to have their names cleared. They deserve for everyone to know what they endured at the hands of the party who was supposed to protect them. I am believed because I have a strong support system, and because I have the evidence and the voice to prove it. MANY, MANY others have not been so lucky. I would argue there is no one better at coercive control than Regina Ward and her associates.

In other words she has integrity. The details as to why things were settled the way they were are not public, so how can anyone condemn her for her representation. Even with a shelter that me and my son went to- not because I didn’t have family or my own home to be in but because I needed a “secretive” place to stay - he found me. This put all the other women in danger so I left and eventually was able to escape him because of his restraining order violated his arrest warrant that was in place for other domestic violence charges I had in place. I WAS LUCKY AND BLESSED to have escaped! I will go to our senator for state of Louisiana to help pass this law as it’s exactly how you said, “no marks, no arrest”! Praying it gets passed!!

To me that's why it's always so shocking to some. A person going to do this doesn't tell anyone cuz they don't wanna hear stop don't do it. I had a friend I knew she was sad but her husband had done the same thing 9 months earlier she did it the same way he did. But there was no talking to her that she had 3 small kids 2 girls and a lil boy she thought so much of yet she still did it. I said she was selfish about doing this with her kids but I've came to realize she was a very troubled soul. It always just looked like a cry for help no matter how many hours we all spent talking to her she did it. We thought she was playing fox again but ya never know.

You are lucky to have a dad that would lay his life and well being on the line to defend you.@@suetown8198 Mine left me at my own defenses, the abuse of a woman he allowed in our family home for many years. When I would confront him and ask him why he never stopped it or why he didn't defend me or attempt to put an end to the awful lies she was spreading around about me.. he would defend her and twist it all back around on me as if it was my fault or blame me for things that my brothers might have done to set her off. I eventually had to walk away and disown him and become likely disinherited after he had told me once before that I might not even inherit anything. You are very fortunate in that regard. I can’t believe the derogatory comments on here about this attorney. She stated that what she wanted to use as leverage and what she wanted to put into the paperwork that Mica would not allow it. When you go into court the attorney cannot go ask for just anything even if it’s what the majority believes should be asked for if their client will not allow them to. The client has to agree with all that is being requested. I think she did her best with what Mica allowed her. Remember Mica did not want to lash out or be vengeful towards JP or the church, she wanted out quietly and she believed God would be the one to serve any punishment. The family was gullible. Jesus told us to be “wise as serpents but gentle as doves”, but too many Christian’s are so afraid to “judge” others, that they end up making themselves easy prey for the wolves out there. There MUST’VE been red flags about JP when Mica was young, but her family OVERLOOKED them because that’s what Christians do, because they’re afraid to judge others. Especially a pastor. Pastors should be scrutinized even more than lay people, because they’re in a position of authority. I’m not bashing Christians. I *AM* a Christian. That’s why it upsets me so much to see my fellow Christian’s being fooled and scammed so easily.

Any coersive control bill will need to be introduced in the next two-year Session, and that begins in January of 2025. Thank you for reaching out with your concern. Thank you FitsNews for doing this interview. I found it very thought provoking and informative. Regina Ward, ESQ faced an enormous task in standing up for Mica, representing the family, yet taking into consideration the current laws and court issues going on in South Carolina, that would apply to this case. For some, it may seem as if justice was not served, because they settled. So many feel let down and hurt, especially those that experienced the same abuse that Mica endured. They feel connected and bond to Mica and her story. And for those that never received true justice in their own abuse situations, this is just as traumatic. For those people feeling this way, I express my deepest, heartfelt sadness. I am so very sorry that you did not get served properly and I am so very sorry that Mica left us so soon, and did not get the initial justice we were all hoping for. But there is hope in this new day. We can never change the past. We can’t bring beautiful, sweet, kind Mica back. Yet, we can go on living, making a difference for others, and try to change the world. It is in those activities, as hard as it is to see now, we truly achieve justice. Mica’s Law is an amazing thing. We all need to embrace this and do what we can to bring it to fruition. I plan to stand with the family of Mica and help get this law passed in South Carolina, and then maybe the rest of the states that have not adopted such laws. Please consider on joining me. PS. JP will be condemned and face judgement. It is inevitable. I hear the “between the line” words spoken by Regina Ward. We might not know what that is going to look like, but I feel it coming.

I have been following Mica’s story. I wanted to express what Micas attorney said, if the law was changed a few years ago Mica would have still been here. Police when they are called they want to see bruises, broken bones, etc. The abuse when someone is physically assaulting you, trying to push you from a flight of stairs, threatening you, it causes fear, unable to cope, forgetful, heart beating, etc., just think someone coming towards you with a car, weapon, bat, etc., actually use that force to put the fear of death in you…. they have not touched you but did just more then that to break you down.
