There were no conditions when i gave money, but i think 99% of the donors thought it would be going towards a wrongful death suit. Probate court in South Carolina is so corrupt. With a 135K settlement, the family will only get abt 85K. Why seal the findings? I think all the people that have protested and given money deserve an explanation. Something is very off with her family. Several people who knew her have commented that her father was completely absent in her life until he thought he could get money from her. Her mother married 6 times, and once they admitted that Micah had problems and didn't want to live at home as a teenager. They didn't protect her, with a completely absent father it was easy for JP to groom her. After her death they all made it look like they were close but there were several red flags for me that's why I never would have donated to them. They asked for money all the time and did Kyler dirty who really wanted Justice for Micah.

Why did we think the Attornies were going to somehow make this fiasco any better? This Press Conference only left us feeling more frustrated and convinced there is no Justice for Mica!! Neither Attorney walked out of there prepared to give a straightforward statement. She looked angry while clenching her teeth and he looked unprofessional and even unkempt. Welp...the Francis family played their hand and showed what they truly wanted. They wanted money. And they clearly got it. They failed Mica before and after death. As for JP, there is no criminal case. As we heard here, all federal and state investigators have concluded. Lesson here is, if you see something, say something. WHEN ITS HAPPENING. Support your loved one WHEN THEY ARE BEING MISTREATED. Part of the problem with this case is that Mica had her own issues. She was clearly unbalanced. And she too played the game with JP. She should have left the state. She did not seek the appropriate supports. These were two messed up people in an impossible relationship.

More and more stuff comes out from her family. We knew her dad was never in the picture that's why JP could groom her. Her mother married 7 times, two of her husbands were in jail, one for sexual assaults and her current husband for the murder of a young mother. She says her daughters are calling her a narcissist and once they were rumors that Mica said her mother abused her as well. I believe there is much more and she was failed by everyone but her sisters who seem genuine to me.

@@hopeful3583 Sounds about right. Also, the Miller family is Freemason, and they are not allowed to marry or even date outside their own club or Eastern Star. There are exceptions, but both Mica and JP were raised up in this, the higher level a parent is the more likely they are to be abusive and curse the family. Not to put down Mica or even JP for this, but it is appropriate to pray for them and any kids, family. It is not very likely to get out of these groups. They are really horrible to punish members and some think Mica was afraid of the extreme punishment souch that she did it herself. If so, I truly believe she may not have even known it, because these groups absolutely splinter personalities. All sorts of insane behavior is possible. But nothing is impossible with God, and Mica may not have known any of the deepest problems they caused. That call at the pawnshop may have been the trigger to do the deed. Or to submit to someone else doing it.

The family has something to hide, I think thats why they settled. Micas Dad was completely absent her whole life, her mother married 7 times, one ex-husband was a registered sex offender and went to jail and her current husband killed a mother and was in jail for that. Micas sisters say that the mom is a narcissist according to her own facebook, I believe there is much more to the story and they were scared it would come out. I hope and trust that JP will get what he deserves, but she was failed my her family BIG time!

It may be part of the agreement that she has to say let's stop talking about JP and move on to the legislature. I can see JP insisting on two things: 1. Stop talking about him. 2. Stop protesting at the church. JP's (and those like him) methods need to be exposed. He abuses everyone around him, including his church members. His "messages" are full of coercion and gaslighting. He's an adulterer, liar, thief. And that's just what we know. We can't stop talking about JP because that's the "awareness" piece of this. Victims need to learn to recognize abusers and avoid them. The legislative piece will be a gratifying victory one day, but awareness should be an everyday goal.
