Wow what a dude!! Been a major fan since I was 13 years old, and still am. Faith no more rock and are totally timeless.....they sound just as good now, as they did then! Blasting it out my car window on a hot day is so therapeutic.....it's strange because when I was 13, I didn't think I'd be blasting it out my car when I was older..... I'm now 38!! And they are still in my top 5! 💀👍 Mike's got a good ear and if I'm honest, one of my favourite vocalists of all time. I'd love to have one hour with him one day, and have a jam to ' land of sunshine ' or 'gentle art of making enemies'...👍💜 That would be awesome..... So Mike if you ever read this (which I doubt) but I'm ready when you are!Patton, your a great singer man - keep it up Peace, love, empathy Anji x

38!! Wow, I've never met a 38 year old, but I think I saw one once on TV. They had to use infra red, time lapse photography to fully document the rare primal being. I never realised at the time the monumental significance of this moment, to actually meet an eight plus three decades year old must be a life's crowning achievement. And behold, now I'm commenting on one's of them's original work! Little baby Jesus, pinch me!)))

@@andrewlockett4569 Met who hah ha?? You haven't 'met' them, they or whoever your ranting about and I know that because your comment say's so. And doesn't really make sense. In your own word's, you "commented" on the person in question (who's 38 yes?) You didn't specify who the 38 yr old was. If it was I, at the time I posted the comment, I was indeed 38 yrs young.....but you did not press 'reply' to me directly so it's open to suggestion who your on about; is it not? But because your words follow my comment, it looks like your attempting a reply to me? No? If not no worries. If so, try pressing reply button to make to more direct dude. Cheers. Huge difference between 'meeting' someone and 'commenting' at someone's comment though....just saying 👌😁

Patton was not insulting the style of music. He was insulting the band Wolfmother, who are ripping off the sound of 70's rock. So the question here is who is being more respectful? Personally I have much more respect for an artist who takes risks and fails then an artist that just recycles/rips off other bands so obviously. Rock and roll has always represented rebellion. WIth that in mind, who is more rock n roll? Follow the logic?

I was instantly obsessed with the 'Who cares a lot' album, I literally used to watch the Who cares a lot VHS and while that was rewinding (lol old skool), I'd listen to the same album. I'm a huge fan. Seen them 3 x brixton and hopefully I can bag a ticket for 2022 in London. I ❤ Mike. Seriously gorgeous and such a genius. The whole band r just the best.

@johnsull66 Quite possibly. He was rocking a Roland DJ70 mkII ( proto groove sampler type keyboard) from '96 well into the '00s and I wouldn't doubt that he still rocks that thang to this day. Whatever works for you to get the ideas out of your head and into sound I guess. There are still folks making badass tracks w/ Ataris (and not just chiptunes guys either. That said I would kill a baby to spend a couple weeks showing him the joys of Ableton.

Exactly. Led Zeppelin has been around since the 60's. There is a massive treasure trove of that kind of sound out there right now. We don't need Wolfmother adding more of the same to the pile. It's completely redundant and unnecessary. We need new sounds. Wolfmother is just regurgitating existing sound.
